1. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
于是地发生了青草，和结种子的菜蔬，各从其类，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。神看着是好的。

2. Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
我必赐你智慧聪明，也必赐你资财，丰富，尊荣。在你以前的列王都没有这样，在你以后也必没有这样的。

3. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
只是越发苦害他们，他们越发多起来，越发蔓延，埃及人就因以色列人愁烦。

4. And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:
要把燔祭牲切成块子，连头和脂油，祭司就要摆在坛上火的柴上。

5. Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
属但的，有亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢。

6. How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?
但你们的麻烦，和管理你们的重任，并你们的争讼，我独自一人怎能担当得起呢，

7. And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,
约书亚对流便人，迦得人，和玛拿西半支派的人说，

8. And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
迦勒说，谁能攻打基列西弗，将城夺取，我就把我女儿押撒给他为妻。

9. Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
我女儿们哪，回去吧，我年纪老迈，不能再有丈夫。即或说，我还有指望，今夜有丈夫可以生子。

10. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
哈拿在耶和华面前不住地祈祷，以利定睛看她的嘴。

11. And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
而且悲哀哭号，禁食到晚上，是因扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并耶和华的民以色列家的人，倒在刀下。

12. Now therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.
现在我可以给你出个主意，好保全你和你儿子所罗门的性命。

13. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
以利亚回答说，我若是神人，愿火从天上降下来，烧灭你和你那五十人。于是神的火从天上降下来，烧灭五十夫长和他那五十人。

14. And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
帕斯鲁细人，迦斯路希人，迦斐托人。从迦斐托出来的有非利士人。

15. But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
王后瓦实提却不肯遵太监所传的王命而来，所以王甚发怒，心如火烧。

16. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
耶和华对撒但说，凡他所有的都在你手中。只是不可伸手加害于他。于是撒但从耶和华面前退去。

17. Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
我们好像阴间，把他们活活吞下。他们如同下坑的人，被我们囫囵吞了。

18. I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
我传道者在耶路撒冷作过以色列的王。

19. While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
王正坐席的时候，我的哪哒香膏发出香味。

20. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
你们来朝见我，谁向你们讨这些，使你们践踏我的院宇呢。

21. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
耶和华对我说，你看得不错。因为我留意保守我的话，使得成就。

22. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
你们一切过路的人哪，这事你们不介意吗。你们要观看，有像这临到我的痛苦没有就是耶和华在他发烈怒的日子使我所受的苦。

23. And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
他们俱各直往前行。灵往哪里去，他们就往那里去，行走并不转身。

24. Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
求你试试仆人们十天，给我们素菜吃，白水喝，

25. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
葡萄树枯乾，无花果树衰残。石榴树，棕树，苹果树，连田野一切的树木，也都枯乾。众人的喜乐尽都消灭。

26. But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
我却要降火在毯螅，烧灭波斯拉的宫殿。

27. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.
你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着，犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐。他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。

28. And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
他对他们说，你们将我抬起来，抛在海中，海就平静了。我知道你们遭这大风，是因我的缘故。

29. For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
玛律的居民心甚忧急，切望得好处，因为灾祸从耶和华那里临到耶路撒冷的城门。

30. Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.
耶和华如此说，尼尼微虽然势力充足，人数繁多，也被剪除，归于无有。犹大阿，我虽然使你受苦，却不再使你受苦。

31. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
耶和华我的神，我的圣者阿，你不是从亘古而有吗。我们必不致死。耶和华阿，你派定他为要刑罚人。磐石阿，你设立他为要惩治人。

32. And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
那时，我必用灯巡查耶路撒冷。我必惩罚那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的。他们心里说，耶和华必不降福，也不降祸。

33. Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯，和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，都听从耶和华他们神的话，和先知哈该奉耶和华他们神差来所说的话。百姓也在耶和华面前存敬畏的心。

34. Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
于是，耶和华的使者说，万军之耶和华阿，你恼恨耶路撒冷，和犹大的城邑，已经七十年，你不施怜悯要到几时呢。

35. But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
你们却亵渎我的名，说，耶和华的桌子是污秽的，其上的食物是可藐视的。

36. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
迁到巴比伦之后，耶哥尼雅生撒拉铁。撒拉铁生所罗巴伯。

37. And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.
圣灵就把耶稣催到旷野里去。

38. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
撒迦利亚看见，就惊慌害怕。

39. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就赐他们权柄，作神的儿女。

40. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
有一座山名叫橄榄山，离耶路撒冷不远，约有安息日可走的路程。当下门徒从那里回耶路撒冷去。

41. That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
这样我在你们中间，因你与我彼此的信心，就可以同得安慰。

42. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
我的意思就是你们各人说，我是属保罗的。我是属亚波罗的。我是属矶法的。我是属基督的。

43. For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
我们所夸的，是自己的良心，见证我们凭着神的圣洁和诚实，在世为人，不靠人的聪明，乃靠神的恩惠，向你们更是这样。

44. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
因为我不是从人领受的，也不是人教导我的，乃是从耶稣基督启示来的。

45. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
叫他的荣耀，从我们这首先在基督里有盼望的人，可以得着称赞。

46. But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
弟兄们，我愿意你们知道，我所遭遇的事，更是叫福音兴旺。

47. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
又感谢父，叫我们能与众圣徒在光明中同得基业。

48. That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
叫我们主耶稣的名在你们身上得荣耀，你们也在他们身上得荣耀，都照着我们的神并主耶稣基督的恩。

49. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
我感谢那给我力量的，我们主基督耶稣，因他以我有忠心，派我服事他。

50. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
为这缘故，我也受这些苦难。然而我不以为耻。因为我知道我所信的是谁，也深信他能保全我所交付他的，（或作他所交托我的）直到那日。

51. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
有克里特人中的一个本地先知说，克里特人常说谎话，乃是恶兽，又馋又懒。

52. Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
我现在打发他亲自回你那里去。他是我心上的人。

53. And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
你要将天地卷起来，像一件外衣，天地都改变了。惟有你永不改变，你的年数没有穷尽。

54. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
忍受试探的人是有福的。因为他经过试验以后，必得生命的冠冕，这是主应许给那些爱他之人的。

55. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
他们得了启示，知道他们所传讲的一切事（传讲原文作服事），不是为自己，乃是为你们。那靠着从天上差来的圣灵，传福音给你们的人，现在将这些事报给你们。天使也愿意详细察看这些事。

56. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
你们虽然晓得这些事，并且在你们已有的真道上坚固，我却要将这些事常常题醒你们。

57. Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
我还有许多事要写给你们，却不愿意用纸墨写出来。但盼望到你们那里，与你们当面谈论，使你们的喜乐满足。

58. Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
低米丢行善有众人给他作见证。又有真理给他作见证。就是我们也给他作见证。你也知道我们的见证是真的。

59. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
这样的人，在你们的爱席上，与你们同吃的时候，正是礁石。（或作玷污）他们作牧人，只知喂养自己，无所惧怕。是没有雨的云彩，被风飘荡，是秋天没有果子的树，死而又死，连根被拔出来。

60. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
我转过身来，要看是谁发声与我说话。既转过来，就看见七个金灯台。
