1. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
神说，天上要有光体，可以分昼夜，作记号，定节令，日子，年岁。

2. And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
所罗门聚集战车马兵，有战车一千四百辆，马兵一万二千名，安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。

3. And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
使他们因作苦工觉得命苦，无论是和泥，是作砖，是作田间各样的工，在一切的工上都严严地待他们。

4. And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
人奉给耶和华的供物，若以鸟为燔祭，就要献斑鸠或是雏鸽为供物。

5. Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
属迦得的，有丢珥的儿子以利雅萨。

6. And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
你们回答我说，照你所说的行了为妙。

7. Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;
你们的妻子，孩子，和牲畜都可以留在约旦河东，摩西所给你们的地。但你们中间一切大能的勇士都要带着兵器在你们的弟兄前面过去，帮助他们，

8. And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?
押撒过门的时候，劝缮夫向她父亲求一块田。押撒一下驴，迦勒问她说，你要什么。

9. And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
两个儿妇又放声而哭，俄珥巴与婆婆亲嘴而别，只是路得舍不得拿俄米。

10. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
以利对她说，你要醉到几时呢。你不应该喝酒。

11. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?
大卫说，你伸手杀害耶和华的受膏者，怎吗不畏惧呢。

12. Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee, and confirm thy words.
你还与王说话的时候，我也随后进去，证实你的话。

13. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
已经有火从天上降下来，烧灭前两次来的五十夫长和他们各自带的五十人。现在愿我的性命在你眼前看为宝贵。

14. The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
和耶布斯人，亚摩利人，革迦撒人，

15. And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)
都是达时务的明哲人。按王的常规，办事必先询问知例明法的人。王问他们说，

16. And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:
有报信的来见约伯，说，牛正耕地，驴在旁边吃草。

17. Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
你与我们大家同分。我们共用一各囊袋。

18. I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
我见日光之下所作的一切事，都是虚空，都是捕风。

19. My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.
我以我的良人为一棵凤仙花，在隐基底葡萄园中。

20. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
你们的月朔，和节期，我心里恨恶，我都以为麻烦。我担当，便不耐烦。

21. Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
耶和华对我说，必有灾祸从北方发出，临到这地的一切居民。

22. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
我罪过的轭是他手所绑的，犹如轭绳缚在我颈项上。他使我的力量衰败。主将我交在我所不能敌挡的人手中。

23. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
这活物往来奔走，好像电光一闪。

24. So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
委办便允准他们这件事，试看他们十天。

25. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD.
你们要分定禁食的日子，宣告严肃会，招聚长老，和国中的一切居民，到耶和华你们神的殿，向耶和华哀求。

26. But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
我却要在争战呐喊的日子，旋风狂暴的时候，点火在拉巴的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。

27. Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.
你不当站在岔路口，剪除他们中间逃脱的。他们遭难的日子，你不当将他们剩下的人交付仇敌。

28. Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.
他们便求告耶和华说，耶和华阿，我们恳求你，不要因这人的性命使我们死亡，不要使流无辜血的罪归与我们。因为你耶和华是随自己的意旨行事。

29. Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
犹大阿，你要将礼物送给摩利设迦特。亚革悉的众族，必用诡诈待以色列诸王。

30. And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
耶和华已经出令，指着尼尼微说，你名下的人必不留后。我必从你神的庙中，除灭雕刻的偶像，和铸造的偶像。我必因你鄙陋，使你归于坟墓。

31. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
你为何使人如海中的鱼，又如没有管辖的爬物呢。

32. The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
耶和华的大日临近，临近而且甚快，乃是耶和华日子的风声。勇士必痛痛的哭号。

33. And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
耶和华激动犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯，和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下之百姓的心。他们就来为万军之耶和华他们神的殿做工。

34. So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
与我说话的天使对我说，你要宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说，我为耶路撒冷，为锡安，心里极其火热。

35. But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
行诡诈的在群中有公羊，他许愿却用有残疾的献给主，这人是可咒诅的。因为我是大君王，我的名在外邦中是可畏的。这是万军之耶和华说的。

36. And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
亚所生撒督。撒督生亚金。亚金生以律。

37. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
约翰下监以后，耶稣来到加利利，宣传神的福音，

38. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
你必喜欢快乐，有许多人因他出世，也必喜乐。

39. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
道成了肉身住在我们中间，充充满满的有恩典有真理。我们也见过他的荣光，正是父独生子的荣光。

40. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
这些人，同着几个妇人，和耶稣的母亲马利亚，并耶稣的弟兄，都同心合意的恒切祷告。

41. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
无论是希腊人，化外人，聪明人，愚拙人，我都欠他们的债。

42. I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
我感谢神，除了基列司布并该犹以外，我没有给你们一个人施洗。

43. As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
正如你们已经有几分认识我们。以我们夸口，好像我们在我们主耶稣的日子，以你们夸口一样。

44. And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
我又在犹太教中，比我本国许多同岁的人更有长进，为我祖宗的遗传更加热心。

45. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
这圣灵，是我们得基业的凭据，（原文作质）直等到神之民（民原文作产业）被赎，使他的荣耀得着称赞。

46. And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
并且那在主里的弟兄，多半因我受的捆锁，就笃信不疑，越发放胆传神的道，无所惧怕。

47. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
我们在爱子里得蒙救赎，罪过得以赦免。

48. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
并且我主的恩是格外丰盛，使我在基督耶稣里有信心和爱心。

49. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
从前所交托你的善道，你要靠着那住在我们里面的圣灵，牢牢的守着。

50. Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
不听犹太人荒渺的言语，和离弃真道之人的诫命。

51. But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
但不知道你的意思，我不愿意这样行，叫你的善行不是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心。

52. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
天使岂不都是服役的灵，奉差遣为那将要承受救恩的人效力吗。

53. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
但各人被试探，乃是被自己的私欲牵引诱惑的。

54. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
你们既作顺命的儿女，就不要效法从前蒙昧无知的时候，那放纵私欲的样子。

55. Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
因为知道我脱离这帐棚的时候快到了，正如我们主耶稣基督所指示我的。

56. But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face.
但盼望快快的见你，我们就当面谈论。

57. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
亚当的七世孙以诺，曾预言这些人说，看哪，主带着他的千万圣者降临，

58. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
他的头与发皆白，如白羊毛，如雪。眼目如同火焰。
