1. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
并要发光在天空,普照在地上。事就这样成了。

2. And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.
王在耶路撒冷使金银多如石头,香柏木多如高原的桑树。

3. And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:
有希伯来的两个收生婆,一名施弗拉,一名普阿,埃及王对她们说,

4. And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
祭司要把鸟拿到坛前,揪下头来,把鸟烧在坛上,鸟的血要流在坛的旁边。

5. Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
属拿弗他利的,有以南的儿子亚希拉。

6. So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
我便将你们各支派的首领,有智慧,为众人所认识的,照你们的支派,立他们为官长,千夫长,百夫长,五十夫长,十夫长,管理你们。

7. Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
等到耶和华使你们的弟兄像你们一样得享平安,并且得着耶和华你们神所赐他们为业之地,那时才可以回你们所得之地,承受为业,就是耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东,向日出之地所给你们的。

8. And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.
她说,求你赐福给我,你既将我安置在南地,求你也给我水泉。迦勒就把上泉下泉赐给她。

9. And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
拿俄米说,看哪,你嫂子已经回她本国,和她所拜的神那里去了,你也跟着你嫂子回去吧。

10. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
哈拿回答说,主阿,不是这样。我是心里愁苦的妇人,清酒浓酒都没有喝,但在耶和华面前倾心吐意。

11. And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
大卫叫了一个少年人来,说,你去杀他吧。

12. And Bathsheba went in unto the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered unto the king.
拔示巴进入内室见王,王甚老迈,书念的童女亚比煞正伺候王。

13. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.
耶和华的使者对以利亚说,你同着他下去,不要怕他。以利亚就起来,同着他下去见王,

14. And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
希未人,亚基人,西尼人,

15. What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
王后瓦实提不遵太监所传的王命,照例应当怎样办理呢。

16. And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
示巴人忽然闯来,把牲畜掳去,并用刀杀了仆人。惟有我一人逃脱,来报信给你。

17. My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
我儿,不要与他们同行一道。禁止你脚走他们的路。

18. That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
弯曲的不能变直,缺少的不能足数。

19. Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.
我的佳偶,你甚美丽,你甚美丽,你的眼好像鸽子眼。

20. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
你们举手祷告,我必遮眼不看。就是你们多多的祈祷,我也不听。你们的手都满了杀人的血。

21. For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
耶和华说,看哪,我要召北方列国的众族。他们要来,各安座位在耶路撒冷的城门口,周围攻击城墙,又要攻击犹大的一切城邑。

22. The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.
主轻弃我中间的一切勇士,招聚多人(原文作大会)攻击我,要压碎我的少年人。主将犹大居民踹下,像在酒榨中一样。

23. Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
我正观看活物的时候,见活物的脸旁各有一轮在地上。

24. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
过了十天,见他们的面貌比用王膳的一切少年人更加俊美肥胖。

25. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
哀哉,耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到,好像毁灭从全能者来到。

26. And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
他们的王和首领,必一同被掳去。这是耶和华说的。

27. For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
耶和华降罚的日子临近万国。你怎样行,他也必照样向你行。你的报应必归到你头上。

28. So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
他们遂将约拿抬起,抛在海中,海的狂浪就平息了。

29. Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
玛利沙的居民哪,我必使那夺取你的来到你这里。以色列的尊贵人(原文作荣耀)必到亚杜兰。

30. Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
看哪,有报好信传平安之人的脚登山,说,犹大阿,可以守你的节期,还你所许的愿吧。因为那恶人不再从你中间经过。他已灭绝净尽了。

31. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
他用钩钩住,用网捕获,用拉网聚集他们。因此,他欢喜快乐。

32. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
那日是忿怒的日子,是急难困苦的日子,是荒废凄凉的日子,是黑暗,幽冥,密云,乌黑的日子。

33. In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
这是在大流士王第二年六月二十四日。

34. And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
我甚恼怒那安逸的列国。因我从前稍微恼怒我民,他们就加害过分。

35. And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
以律生以利亚撒。以利亚撒生马但。马但生雅各。

36. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
说,日期满了,神的国近了。你们当悔改,信福音。

37. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
他在主面前将要为大,淡酒浓酒都不喝,从母腹里就被圣灵充满了。

38. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
约翰为他作见证,喊着说,这就是我曾说,那在我以后来的,反成了在我以前的。因他本来在我以前。

39. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
那时,有许多人聚会,约有一百二十名,彼得就在弟兄中间站起来,说,

40. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
所以情愿尽我的力量,将福音也传给你们在罗马的人。

41. Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
免得有人说,你们是奉我的名受洗。

42. And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
我既然这样深信,就早有意到你们那里去,叫你们再得益处。

43. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
然而那把我从母腹里分别出来,又施恩召我的神,

44. Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
因此,我既听见你们信从主耶稣,亲爱众圣徒,

45. Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
有的传基督,是出于嫉妒分争。也有的是出于好意。

46. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
爱子是那不能看见之神的像,是首生的,在一切被造的以先。

47. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
基督耶稣降世,为要拯救罪人。这话是可信的,是十分可佩服的。在罪人中我个是罪魁。

48. This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
凡在亚细亚的人都离弃我,这是你知道的。其中有腓吉路和黑摩其尼。

49. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
在洁净的人,凡物都洁净。在污秽不信的人,什么都不洁净。连心地和天良,也都污秽了。

50. For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
他暂时离开你,或者是叫你永远得着他。

51. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
私欲既怀了胎,就生出罪来。罪既长成,就生出死来。

52. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
那召你们的既是圣洁,你们在一切所行的事上也要圣洁。

53. Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
并且我尽心竭力,使你们在我去世以后,时常记念这些事。

54. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
愿你平安。众位朋友都问你安。请你替我按着姓名问众位朋友安。

55. To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
要在众人身上行审判,证实那一切不敬虔的人,所妄行一切不敬虔的事,又证实不敬虔之罪人所说顶撞他的刚愎话。

56. And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
脚好像在炉中锻炼光明的铜。声音如同众水的声音。
