1. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
就把这些光摆列在天空，普照在地上。

2. And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.
他们从埃及买来的车，每辆价银七百舍客勒，马每匹一百五十舍客勒。赫人诸王和亚兰诸王所买的车马，也是按这价值经他们手买来的。

3. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
但是收生婆敬畏神，不照埃及王的吩咐行，竟存留男孩的性命。

4. And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
要拿着鸟的两个翅膀，把鸟撕开，只是不可撕断，祭司要在坛上，在火的柴上焚烧。这是燔祭，是献与耶和华为馨香的火祭。

5. And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
于是，摩西，亚伦带着这些按名指定的人，

6. Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
审判的时候，不可看人的外貌。听讼不可分贵贱，不可惧怕人，因为审判是属乎神的。若有难断的案件，可以呈到我这里，我就判断。

7. According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.
我们从前在一切事上怎样听从摩西，现在也必照样听从你。惟愿耶和华你的神与你同在，像与摩西同在一样。

8. And Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name of the city was called Hormah.
犹大和他哥哥西缅同去，击杀了住洗法的迦南人，将城尽行毁灭，那城的名便叫何珥玛。

9. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
你在哪里死，我也在那里死，也葬在那里。除非死能使你我相离，不然，愿耶和华重重地降罚与我。

10. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
以利说，你可以平平安安地回去。愿以色列的神允准你向他所求的。

11. And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
大卫作哀歌，吊扫罗和他儿子约拿单，

12. And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
她说，我主阿，你曾向婢女指着耶和华你的神起誓说，你儿子所罗门必接续我作王，坐在我的位上。

13. So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.
亚哈谢果然死了，正如耶和华藉以利亚所说的话。因他没有儿子，他兄弟约兰接续他作王，正在犹大王约沙法的儿子约兰第二年。

14. The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
闪的儿子是以拦，亚述，亚法撒，路德，亚兰，乌斯，户勒，基帖，米设（米设创世记十章二十三节作玛施）。

15. For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
因为王后这事必传到众妇人的耳中，说，亚哈随鲁王吩咐王后瓦实提到王面前，她却不来，她们就藐视自己的丈夫。

16. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
他还说话的时候，又有人来说，迦勒底人分作三队忽然闯来，把骆驼掳去，并用刀杀了仆人。惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。

17. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
好像飞鸟，网罗设在眼前仍不躲避。

18. And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
我又专心察明智慧，狂妄，和愚昧。乃知道也是捕风。

19. The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
以香柏树为房屋的楝梁，以松树为椽子。

20. Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
学习行善。寻求公平，解救受欺压的，给孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辨屈。

21. Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
所以你当束腰，起来将我所吩咐你的一切话告诉他们。不要因他们惊惶，免得我使你在他们面前惊惶。

22. Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.
锡安举手，无人安慰。耶和华论雅各已经出令，使四围的人作他仇敌。耶路撒冷在他们中间像不洁之物。

23. When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
轮行走的时候，向四方都能直行，并不掉转。

24. As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
这四个少年人，神在各样文字学问（学问原文作智慧）上赐给他们聪明知识。但以理又明白各样的异象和梦兆。

25. The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
谷种在土块下朽烂。仓也荒凉，廪也破坏。因为五谷枯乾了。

26. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
在锡安山必有逃脱的人，那山也必成圣。雅各家必得原有的产业。

27. Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
耶和华安排一条大鱼吞了约拿，他在鱼腹中三日三夜。

28. Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
他岂可屡次倒空网罗，将列国的人时常杀戮，毫不顾惜呢。

29. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
我必使灾祸临到人身上，使他们行走如同瞎眼的，因为得罪了我。他们的血，必倒出如灰尘，他们的肉，必抛弃如粪土。

30. Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
你要再宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说，我的城邑必再丰盛发达。耶和华必再安慰锡安，拣选耶路撒冷。

31. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
这样，从亚伯拉罕到大卫，共有十四代。从大卫到迁至巴比伦的时候，也有十四代。从迁至巴比伦的时候到基督，又有十四代。

32. And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
耶稣对他们说，来跟从我，我要叫你们得人如得鱼一样。

33. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
他必有以利亚的心志能力，行在主的前面，叫为父的心转向儿女，叫悖逆的人转从义人的智慧。又为主豫备合用的百姓。

34. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
律法本是藉着摩西传的，恩典和真理，都是由耶稣基督来的。

35. For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
他本来列在我们数中，并且在使徒的职任上得了一分。

36. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
因为神的义，正在这福音上显明出来。这义是本于信以致于信。如经上所记，义人必因信得生。

37. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
基督差遣我，原不是为施洗，乃是为传福音。并不用智慧的言语，免得基督的十字架落了空。

38. When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
我有此意，岂是反复不定吗。我所起的意，岂是从情欲起的，叫我忽是忽非吗。

39. Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
也没有上耶路撒冷去，见那些比我先作使徒的。惟独往阿拉伯去。后又回到大马士革。

40. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
求我们主耶稣基督的神，荣耀的父，将那赐人智慧和启示的灵，赏给你们，使你们真知道他。

41. But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
那一等传基督是出于结党，并不诚实，意思要加增我捆锁的苦楚。

42. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
他在万有之先，万有也靠他而立。

43. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
但愿尊贵，荣耀归与那不能朽坏不能看见永世的君王，独一的神，直到永永远远。阿们。

44. But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.
反倒在罗马的时候，殷勤的找我，并且找着了。

45. If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
你若以我为同伴，就收纳他，如同收纳我一样。

46. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
各样美善的恩赐，和各样全备的赏赐，都是从上头来的。从众光之父那里降下来的。在他并没有改变，也没有转动的影儿。

47. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
你们既称那不偏待人，按各人行为审判人的主为父，就当存敬畏的心，度你们在世寄居的日子。

48. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
他从父神得尊贵荣耀的时候，从极大荣光之中，有声音出来向他说，这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。

49. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
亲爱的弟兄阿，你们要记念我们主耶稣基督之使徒从前所说的话。

50. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
我一看见，就仆倒在他脚前，像死了一样。他用右手按着我说，不要惧怕。我是首先的，我是末后的，
