1. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
地是空虚混沌。渊面黑暗。神的灵运行在水面上。

2. Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.
所罗门吩咐以色列众人，就是千夫长，百夫长，审判官，首领与族长都来。

3. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,
有流便，西缅，利未，犹大，

4. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.
你晓谕以色列人说，你们中间若有人献供物给耶和华，要从牛群羊群中献牲畜为供物。

5. Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
你要按以色列全会众的家室，宗族，人名的数目，计算所有的男丁。

6. (There are eleven days' journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadeshbarnea.)
从何烈山经过西珥山，到加低斯巴尼亚，有十一天的路程。

7. Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
我的仆人摩西死了。现在你要起来，和众百姓过这约旦河，往我所要赐给以色列人的地去。

8. And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.
耶和华说，犹大当先上去，我已将那地交在他手中。

9. And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.
这人名叫以利米勒，他的妻名叫拿俄米。他两个儿子，一个名叫玛伦，一个名叫基连，都是犹大伯利恒的以法他人。他们到了摩押地，就住在那里。

10. And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
他有两个妻，一名哈拿，一名毗尼拿。毗尼拿有儿女，哈拿没有儿女。

11. It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
第三天，有一人从扫罗的营里出来，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘，到大卫面前伏地叩拜。

12. Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat.
所以臣仆对他说，不如为我主我王寻梢一个处女，使她伺候王，奉养王，睡在王的怀中，好叫我主我王得暖。

13. And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.
亚哈谢在撒马利亚，一日从楼上的栏杆里掉下来，就病了。于是差遣使者说，你们去问以革伦的神巴力西卜，我这病能好不能好。

14. Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
以挪士生该南。该南生玛勒列。玛勒列生雅列。

15. Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
波斯王居鲁士如此说，耶和华天上的神，已将天下万国赐给我。又嘱咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷，为他建造殿宇。

16. That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.
那时，有我一个弟兄哈拿尼，同着几个人从犹大来。我问他们那些被掳归回，剩下逃脱的犹大人和耶路撒冷的光景。

17. That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,
亚哈随鲁王在书珊城的宫登基。

18. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
他生了七个儿子，三个女儿。

19. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
惟喜爱耶和华的律法，昼夜思想，这人便为有福。

20. To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
要使人晓得智慧和训诲。分辨通达的言语。

21. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
传道者说，虚空的虚空，虚空的虚空。凡事都是虚空。

22. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
愿他用口与我亲嘴。因你的爱情比酒更美。

23. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
天哪，要听，地阿，侧耳而听。因为耶和华说，我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

24. To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚在位十三年，耶和华的话临到耶利米。

25. She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
她夜间痛哭，泪流满腮。在一切所亲爱的中间没有一个安慰她的。她的朋友都以诡诈待她，成为她的仇敌。

26. In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
正是约雅斤王被掳去第五年四月初五日，

27. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
主将犹大王约雅敬，并神殿中器皿的几分交付他手。他就把这器皿带到示拿地，收入他神的庙里，放在他神的库中。

28. The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
耶和华初次与何西阿说话，对他说，你去娶淫妇为妻，也收那从淫乱所生的儿女，因为这地大行淫乱，离弃耶和华。

29. Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
老年人哪，当听我的话。国中的居民哪，都要侧耳而听。在你们的日子，或你们列祖的日子，曾有这样的事吗。

30. And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
他说，耶和华必从锡安吼叫，从耶路撒冷发声。牧人的草场要悲哀，迦密的山顶要枯乾。

31. Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
我使你以东在列国中为最小的，被人大大藐视。

32. Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
你起来往尼尼微大城去，向其中的居民呼喊。因为他们的恶达到我面前。

33. Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
万民哪，你们都要听。地和其上所有的，也都要侧耳而听。主耶和华从他的圣殿，要见证你们的不是。

34. God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
耶和华是忌邪施报的神。耶和华施报大有忿怒。向他的敌人施报，向他的仇敌怀怒。

35. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
他说，耶和华阿，我呼求你，你不应允，要到几时呢。我因强暴哀求你，你还不拯救。

36. I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
耶和华说，我必从地上除灭万类。

37. Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.
万军之耶和华如此说，这百姓说，建造耶和华殿的时候尚未来到。

38. The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。

39. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
耶和华说，我曾爱你们。你们却说，你在何事上爱我们呢。耶和华说，以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗。我却爱雅各，

40. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
亚伯拉罕生以撒。以撒生雅各。雅各生犹大和他的弟兄。

41. As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
正如先知以赛亚书上记着说，（有古卷无以赛亚三字）看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你面前，豫备道路。

42. Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
*述说在我们中间所成就的事，是照传道的人，从起初亲眼看见，又传给我们的

43. The same was in the beginning with God.
这道太初与神同在。

44. Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
直到他藉着圣灵吩咐所拣选的使徒，以后被接上升的日子为止。

45. (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
这福音是神从前藉众先知，在圣经上所应许的。

46. Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
写信给在哥林多神的教会，就是在基督耶稣里成圣，蒙召作圣徒的，以及所有在各处求告我主耶稣基督之名的人。基督是他们的主，也是我们的主。

47. Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
愿恩惠平安，从神我们的父和主耶稣基督归与你们。

48. And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
和一切与我同在的众弟兄，写信给加拉太的各教会。

49. Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
愿恩惠平安，从神我们的父，和主耶稣基督，归与你们。

50. Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
愿恩惠平安，从神我们的父，并主耶稣基督，归与你们。

51. To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
写信给歌罗西的圣徒，在基督里有忠心的弟兄。愿恩惠平安，从神我们的父，归与你们。

52. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
我们为你们众人常常感谢神，祷告的时候题到你们。

53. Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
愿恩惠平安，从父神和主耶稣基督，归与你们。

54. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
写信给那因信主作我真儿子的提摩太。愿恩惠怜悯平安，从父神和我们主基督耶稣，归与你。

55. To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
写信给我亲爱的儿子提摩太。愿恩惠怜悯平安，从父神和我们主基督耶稣，归与你。

56. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
盼望那无谎言的神在万古之先所应许的永生，

57. And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
和妹子亚腓亚，并与我们同当兵的亚基布，以及在你家的教会。

58. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
就在这末世，藉着他儿子晓谕我们，又早已立他为承受万有的，也曾藉着他创造诸世界。

59. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
我的弟兄们，你们落在百般的试炼中，都要以为大喜乐。

60. Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
就是照父神的先见被拣选，藉着圣灵得成圣洁，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠平安，多多的加给你们。

61. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
愿恩惠平安，因你们认识神和我们主耶稣，多多的加给你们。

62. (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
（这生命已经显现出来，我们也看见过，现在又作见证，将原与父同在，且显现与我们那永远的生命，传给你们）。

63. For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.
爱你们是为真理的缘故，这真理存在我们里面，也必永远与我们同在。

64. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
亲爱的兄弟阿，我愿你凡事兴盛，身体健壮，如你的灵魂兴盛一样。

65. Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
愿怜恤，平安，慈爱，多多的加给你们。

66. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
约翰便将神的道，和耶稣基督的见证，凡自己所看见的，都证明出来。
