1. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
神就造出大鱼和水中所滋生各样有生命的动物，各从其类。又造出各样飞鸟，各从其类。神看着是好的。

2. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
收生婆因为敬畏神，神便叫她们成立家室。

3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
被数的男丁，共有四万六千五百名。

4. Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.
看哪，耶和华你的神已将那地摆在你面前，你要照耶和华你列祖的神所说的上去得那地为业。不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。

5. And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.
便雅悯人没有赶出住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人。耶布斯人仍在耶路撒冷与便雅悯人同住，直到今日。

6. I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?
我满满的出去，耶和华使我空空的回来。耶和华降祸与我，全能者使我受苦，既是这样，你们为何还叫我拿俄米呢。

7. And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
以利加拿和他全家都上示罗去，要向耶和华献年祭，并还所许的愿。

8. Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
基利波山哪，愿你那里没有雨露。愿你田地无土产可作供物。因为英雄的盾牌在那里被污丢弃。扫罗的盾牌彷佛未曾抹油。

9. Otherwise it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders.
若不然，到我主我王与列祖同睡以后，我和我儿子所罗门必算为罪人了。

10. Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
哈多兰，乌萨，德拉，

11. And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
王和众首领都以米母干的话为美，王就照这话去行，

12. And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
说，我赤身出于母胎，也必赤身归回。赏赐的是耶和华，收取的也是耶和华。耶和华的名是应当称颂的。

13. She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
在热闹街头喊叫，在城门口，在城中发出言语。

14. How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
可叹忠信的城，变为妓女。从前充满了公平，公义居住在其中，现今却有凶手居住。

15. They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.
听见我叹息的有人。安慰我的却无人。我的仇敌都听见我所遭的患难。因你作这事，他们都喜乐。你必使你报告的日子来到，他们就像我一样。

16. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
那些行走，这些也行走。那些站住，这些也站住。那些从地上升，轮也在旁边上升，因为活物的灵在轮中。

17. And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
到居鲁士王元年，但以理还在。

18. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
必有拯救者上到锡安山，审判以扫山，国度就归耶和华了。

19. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
我说，他们来做什么呢。他说，这是打散犹大的角，使人不敢抬头。但这些匠人来威吓列国，打掉他们的角，就是举起打散犹大地的角。

20. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
他将要生一个儿子。你要给他起名叫耶稣。因他要将自己的百姓从罪恶里救出来。

21. And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
到了迦百农，耶稣就在安息日进了会堂教训人。

22. And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
百姓等候撒迦利亚，诧异他许久在殿里。

23. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
他们又问他说，这样你是谁呢，是以利亚吗。他说，我不是。是那先知吗，他回答说，不是。

24. Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
所以主耶稣在我们中间始终出入的时候，

25. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
因为他们虽然知道神，却不当作神荣耀他，也不感谢他。他们的思念变为虚妄，无知的心就昏暗了。

26. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
世人凭自己的智慧，既不认识神，神就乐意用人所当作愚拙的道理，拯救那些信的人。这就是神的智慧了。

27. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
那在基督里坚固我们和你们，并且膏我们的，就是神。

28. Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
以后我到了叙利亚和基利家境内。

29. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
远超过一切执政的，掌权的，有能的，主治的，和一切有名的。不但是今世的，连来世的也都超过了。

30. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
因我活着就是基督，我死了就有益处。

31. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
你们从前与神隔绝，因着恶行，心里与他为敌。

32. Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
我写信给你，深信你必顺服，知道你所要行的，必过于我所说的。

33. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
所以你们要脱去一切的污秽，和盈馀的邪恶，存温柔的心领受那所栽种的道，就是能救你们灵魂的道。

34. Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
你们也因信着他，信那叫他从死里复活，又给他荣耀的神，叫你们的信心，和盼望，都在于神。

35. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
因为预言从来没有出于人意的，乃是人被圣灵感动说出神的话来。

36. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
保守自己常在神的爱中，仰望我们主耶稣基督的怜悯，直到永生。
