1. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
神就赐福给这一切，说，滋生繁多，充满海中的水。雀鸟也要多生在地上。

2. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.
法老吩咐他的众民说，以色列人所生的男孩，你们都要丢在河里，一切的女孩，你们要存留她的性命。

3. Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
西缅子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，

4. And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
你们都就近我来说，我们要先打发人去，为我们窥探那地，将我们上去该走何道，必进何城，都回报我们。

5. And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel: and the LORD was with them.
约瑟家也上去攻打伯特利。耶和华与他们同在。

6. So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.
拿俄米和她儿妇摩押女子路得，从摩押地回来到伯利恒，正是动手割大麦的时候。

7. But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.
哈拿却没有上去，对丈夫说，等孩子断了奶，我便带他上去朝见耶和华，使他永远住在那里。

8. From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
约拿单的弓箭非流敌人的血不退缩。扫罗的刀剑非剖勇士的油不收回。

9. And, lo, while she yet talked with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in.
拔示巴还与王说话的时候，先知拿单也进来了。

10. And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
以巴录，亚比玛利，示巴，

11. For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.
发诏书，用各省的文字，各族的方言通知各省，使为丈夫的在家中作主，各说本地的方言。

12. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
在这一切的事上约伯并不犯罪，也不以神为愚妄（或作也不妄评神）。

13. How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
说你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，亵慢人喜欢亵慢，愚顽人恨恶知识，要到几时呢。

14. Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:
你的银子，变为渣滓，你的酒，用水搀对。

15. Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.
愿他们的恶行都呈在你面前。你怎样因我的一切罪过待我，求你照样待他们。因我叹息甚多，心中发昏。

16. And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
活物的头以上有穹苍的形像，看着像可畏的水晶，铺张在活物的头以上。

17. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
这一切的事成就，是要应验主藉先知所说的话，

18. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
众人很希奇他的教训。因为他教训他们，正像有权柄的人，不像文士。

19. And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
及至他出来，不能和他们说话。他们知道他在殿里见了异象。因为他直向他们打手式，竟成了哑吧。

20. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
于是他们说，你到底是谁，叫我们好回覆差我们来的人。你自己说，你是谁。

21. Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
就是从约翰施洗起，直到主离开我们被接上升的日子为止，必须从那常与我们作伴的人中，立一位与我们同作耶稣复活的见证。

22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
自称为聪明，反成了愚拙，

23. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
犹太人是要神迹，希腊人是求智慧。

24. Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
他又用印印了我们，并赐圣灵在我们心里作凭据。（原文作质）。

25. And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
那时，犹太信基督的各教会都没有见过我的面。

26. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
又将万有服在他的脚下，使他为教会作万有之首。

27. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
但我在肉身活着，若成就我工夫的果子，我就不知道该挑选什么。

28. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
但如今他藉着基督的肉身受死，叫你们与自己和好，都成了圣洁，没有瑕疵，无可责备，把你们引到自己面前。

29. But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
此外你还要给我豫备住处，因为我盼望藉着你们的祷告，必蒙恩到你们那里去。

30. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。

31. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
你们既因顺从真理，洁净了自己的心，以致爱弟兄没有虚假，就当从心里彼此切实相爱。从心里有古卷作从清洁的心

32. And of some have compassion, making a difference:
有些人存疑心，你们要怜悯他们。
