1. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
于是神造出野兽，各从其类。牲畜，各从其类。地上一切昆虫，各从其类。神看着是好的。

2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
被数的，共有四万五千六百五十名。

3. And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.
他们手里拿着那地的果子下来，到我们那里，回报说，耶和华我们的神所赐给我们的是美地。

4. And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.
那人将进城的路指示他们，他们就用刀击杀了城中的居民，但将那人和他全家放去。

5. And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.
宰了一只公牛，就领孩子到以利面前。

6. How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
英雄何竟在阵上仆倒。约拿单何竟在山上被杀。

7. For he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the priest; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah.
他今日下去，宰了许多牛羊，肥犊，请了王的众子和军长，并祭司亚比亚他。他们正在亚多尼雅面前吃喝，说，愿亚多尼雅王万岁。

8. Eber, Peleg, Reu,
沙拉生希伯。希伯生法勒。法勒生拉吴。

9. But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
反轻弃我一切的劝戒，不肯受我的责备。

10. And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
我必反手加在你身上，炼尽你的渣滓，除尽你的杂质。

11. And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.
在他们头以上的穹苍之上有声音。他们站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。

12. And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
只是没有和他同房，等他生了儿子，（有古卷作等他生了头胎的儿子）就给他起名叫耶稣。

13. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
耶稣责备他说，不要作声，从这人身上出来吧。

14. Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
说，主在眷顾我的日子，这样看待我，要把我在人间的羞耻除掉。

15. And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
他们就问他说，你既不是基督，不是以利亚，也不是那先知，为什么施洗呢。

16. That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
这位分犹大已经丢弃，往自己的地方去了。

17. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
他们将神的真实变为虚谎，去敬拜事奉受造之物，不敬奉那造物的主。主乃是可称颂的，直到永远。阿们。

18. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
因神的愚拙总比人智慧。神的软弱总比人强壮。

19. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
我既然这样深信，就知道仍要住在世间，且与你们众人同住，使你们腓01：25）在所信的道上。又长进又喜乐。

20. Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
我照神为你们所赐我的职分，作了教会的执事，要把神的道理传得全备。

21. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
愿我们主耶稣基督的恩常在你的心里。阿们。

22. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
惟有那详细察看那全备使人自由之律法的，并且时常如此，这人既不是听了就忘，乃是实在行出来，就在他所行的事上必然得福。

23. But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
惟有主的道是永存的。所传给你们的福音就是这道。

24. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
愿荣耀，威严，能力，权柄，因我们的主耶稣基督，归与他，从万古以前，并现在，直到永永远远。阿们。
