1. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
神说，我们要照着我们的形像，按着我们的样式造人，使他们管理海里的鱼，空中的鸟，地上的牲畜，和全地，并地上所爬的一切昆虫。

2. Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
犹大子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，

3. Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:
你们却不肯上去，竟违背了耶和华你们神的命令，

4. And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.
那人往赫人之地去，筑了一座城，起名叫路斯。那城到如今还叫这名。

5. And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.
妇人说，主阿，我敢在你面前起誓，从前在你这里站着祈求耶和华的那妇人，就是我。

6. I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.
我兄约拿单哪，我为你悲伤。我甚喜悦你。你向我发的爱情奇妙非常，过于妇女的爱情。

7. But me, even me thy servant, and Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, hath he not called.
惟独我，就是你的仆人和祭司撒督，耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，并王的仆人所罗门，他都没有请。

8. Serug, Nahor, Terah,
拉吴生西鹿。西鹿生拿鹤。拿鹤生他拉。

9. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
你们遭灾难，我就发笑惊恐临到你们，我必嗤笑。

10. And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
我也必复还你的审判官，像起初一样，复还你的谋士，像起先一般。然后你必称为公义之城，忠信之邑。

11. And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
在他们头以上的穹苍之上有宝座的形像，彷佛蓝宝石。在宝座形像以上有彷佛人的形状。

12. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
污鬼叫那人抽了一阵疯，大声喊叫，就出来了。

13. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
到了第六个月，天使加百列奉神的差遣，往加利利的一座城去，这城名叫拿撒勒。

14. John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
约翰回答说，我是用水施洗，但有一位站在你们中间，是你们不认识的，

15. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
于是众人为他们摇签，摇出马提亚来。他就和十一个使徒同列。

16. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
因此神任凭他们放纵可羞耻的情欲。他们的女人，把顺性的用处，变为逆性的用处。

17. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
弟兄们哪，可见你们蒙召的，按着肉体有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊贵的也不多。

18. That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
叫你们在基督耶稣里的欢乐，因我再到你们那里去，就越发加增。

19. Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
这道理就是历世历代所隐藏的奥秘，但如今向他的圣徒显明了。

20. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
若有人自以为虔诚，却不勒住他的舌头，反欺哄自己的心，这人的虔诚是虚的。
