1. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
神说，看哪，我将遍地上一切结种子的菜蔬和一切树上所结有核的果子，全赐给你们作食物。

2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
被数的，共有五万四千四百名。

3. Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.
我就对你们说，不要惊恐，也不要怕他们。

4. Neither did Ephraim drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer among them.
以法莲没有赶出住基色的迦南人。于是迦南人仍住在基色，在以法莲中间。

5. And the king sware, and said, As the LORD liveth, that hath redeemed my soul out of all distress,
王起誓说，我指着救我性命脱离一切苦难，永生的耶和华起誓。

6. These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
以实玛利的儿子记在下面，以实玛利的长子是尼拜约，其次是基达，押德别，米比衫，

7. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
因为你们恨恶知识，不喜爱敬畏耶和华，

8. For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
那等人必因你们所喜爱的橡树抱愧，你们必因所选择的园子蒙羞。

9. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
装满了各样不义，邪恶，贪婪，恶毒（或作阴毒）。满心是嫉妒，凶杀，争竞，诡诈，毒恨。

10. And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
他们一出会堂，就同着雅各约翰，进了西门和安得烈的家。

11. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
马利亚因这话就很惊慌，又反复思想这样问安是什么意思。

12. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
次日，约翰看见耶稣来到他那里，就说，看哪，神的羔羊，除去（或作背负）世人罪孽的。

13. That no flesh should glory in his presence.
使一切有血气的，在神面前一个也不能自夸。

14. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
因为你们蒙恩，不但得以信服基督，并要为他受苦。

15. Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
我也为此劳苦，照着他在我里面运用的大能，尽心竭力。
