1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
被数的，共有四万零五百名。

2. Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.
他在路上，在你们前面行，为你们找安营的地方。夜间在火柱里，日间在云柱里，指示你们所当行的路。

3. Neither did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, nor the inhabitants of Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them.
拿弗他利没有赶出伯示麦和伯亚纳的居民，于是拿弗他利就住在那地的迦南人中间。然而伯示麦和伯亚纳的居民成了服苦的人。

4. The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:
王对他们说，要带领你们主的仆人，使我儿子所罗门骑我的骡子，送他下到基训。

5. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
米甸的儿子是以法，以弗，哈诺，亚比大，以勒大。这都是基土拉的子孙。

6. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
惟有听从我的，必安然居住，得享安静，不怕灾祸。

7. And all the city was gathered together at the door.
合城的人都聚集在门前。

8. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
他要作雅各家的王，直到永远。他的国也没有穷尽。

9. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
我先前不认识他。只是那差我来用水施洗的，对我说，你看见圣灵降下来，住在谁的身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的。
