1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
起初神创造天地。

2. And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
大卫的儿子所罗门国位坚固。耶和华他的神与他同在，使他甚为尊大。

3. Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.
以色列的众子，各带家眷和雅各一同来到埃及，他们的名字记在下面。

4. And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
耶和华从会幕中呼叫摩西，对他说，

5. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
以色列人出埃及地后，第二年二月初一日，耶和华在西奈的旷野，会幕中晓谕摩西说，

6. These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
以下所记的，是摩西在约旦河东的旷野，疏弗对面的亚拉巴，就是巴兰，陀弗，拉班，哈洗录，底撒哈中间，向以色列众人所说的话。

7. Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
耶和华的仆人摩西死了以后，耶和华晓谕摩西的帮手，嫩的儿子约书亚，说，

8. Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
约书亚死后，以色列人求问耶和华说，我们中间谁当首先上去攻击迦南人，与他们争战。

9. Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
当士师秉政的时候，国中遭遇饥荒，在犹大伯利恒，有一个人带着妻子和两个儿子，往摩押地去寄居。

10. Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
以法莲山地的拉玛琐非有一个以法莲人，名叫以利加拿，是苏弗的玄孙，托户的曾孙，以利户的孙子，耶罗罕的儿子。

11. Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
扫罗死后，大卫击杀亚玛力人回来，在洗革拉住了两天。

12. Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.
大卫王年纪老迈，虽用被遮盖，仍不觉暖。

13. Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
亚哈死后，摩押背叛以色列。

14. Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
亚当生塞特。塞特生以挪士。

15. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
波斯王居鲁士元年，耶和华为要应验藉耶利米口所说的话，就激动波斯王塞鲁士的心，使他下诏通告全国，说，

16. The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,
哈迦利亚的儿子尼希米的言语如下。亚达薛西王二十年基斯流月，我在书珊城的宫中。

17. Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)
亚哈随鲁作王，从印度直到古实，统管一百二十七省。

18. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
乌斯地有一个人名叫约伯。那人完全正直，敬畏神，远离恶事。

19. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐亵慢人的座位。

20. The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
以色列王大卫儿子所罗门的箴言。

21. The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
在耶路撒冷作王，大卫的儿子，传道者的言语。

22. The song of songs, which is Solomon's.
所罗门的歌，是歌中的雅歌。

23. The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
当乌西雅，约坦，亚哈斯，希西家，作犹大王的时候，亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚得默示，论到犹大和耶路撒冷。

24. The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
便雅悯地亚拿突城的祭司中，希勒家的儿子耶利米的话记在下面。

25. How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!
先前满有人民的城，现在何竟独坐。先前在列国中为大的，现在竟如寡妇。先前在诸省中为王后的，现在成为进贡的。

26. Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
当三十年四月初五日，以西结（原文作我）在迦巴鲁河边被掳的人中，天就开了，得见神的异象。

27. In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
犹大王约雅敬在位第三年，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来到耶路撒冷，将城围困。

28. The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
当乌西雅，约坦，亚哈斯，希西家作犹大王，约阿施的儿子耶罗波安，作以色列王的时候，耶和华的话临到备利的儿子何西阿。

29. The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
耶和华的话临到毗土珥的儿子约珥。

30. The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
当犹大王乌西雅，以色列王约阿施的儿子，耶罗波安在位的时候，大地震前二年，提哥亚牧人中的阿摩司得默示论以色列。

31. The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
俄巴底亚得了耶和华的默示。论以东，说，我从耶和华那里听见信息，并有使者被差往列国去，说，起来把，一同起来与以东争战。

32. Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
耶和华的话临到亚米太的儿子约拿，说，

33. The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
当犹大王约坦，亚哈斯，希西家在位的时候，摩利沙人弥迦得耶和华的默示，论撒玛利亚和耶路撒冷。

34. The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
论尼尼微的默示，就是伊勒歌斯人那鸿所得的默示。

35. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
先知哈巴谷所得的默示。

36. The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
当犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚在位的时候，耶和华的话临到希西家的元孙，亚玛利雅的曾孙，基大利的孙子，古示的儿子西番雅。

37. In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
大流士王第二年六月初一日，耶和华的话藉先知哈该，向犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说，

38. In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
大流士王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子，比利家的儿子，先知撒迦利亚，说，

39. The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
耶和华藉玛拉基传给以色列的默示。

40. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
亚伯拉罕的后裔，大卫的子孙，耶稣基督的家谱。（后裔子孙原文都作儿子下同）

41. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
神的儿子，耶稣基督福音的起头，

42. Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
提阿非罗大人哪，有好些人提笔作书，

43. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
太初有道，道与神同在，道就是神。

44. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
提阿非罗阿，我已经作了前书，论到耶稣开头一切所行所教训的，

45. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
耶稣基督的仆人保罗，奉召为使徒，特派传神的福音。

奉神旨意，蒙召作耶稣基督使徒的保罗，同兄弟所提尼，

47. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
奉神旨意，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，和兄弟提摩太，写信给在哥林多神的教会，并亚该亚遍处的众圣徒。

48. Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
作使徒的保罗，（不是由于人，也不是藉着人，乃是藉着耶稣基督，与叫他从死里复活的父神）

49. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
奉神旨意，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，写信给在以弗所的圣徒，就是在基督耶稣里有忠心的人。

50. Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
基督耶稣的仆人保罗，和提摩太，写信给凡住腓立比，在基督耶稣里的众圣徒，和诸位监督，诸位执事。

51. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
奉神旨意，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，和兄弟提摩太，

52. Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
保罗，西拉，提摩太，写信给帖撒罗尼迦在父神和主耶稣基督里的教会。愿恩惠平安归与你们。

53. Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
保罗，西拉，提摩太，写信给帖撒罗尼迦在神我们的父，与主耶稣基督里的教会。

54. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
奉我们救主神，和我们的盼望基督耶稣之命，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，

55. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
奉神旨意，照着在基督耶稣里生命的应许，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，

56. Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
神的仆人，耶稣基督的使徒保罗，凭着神选民的信心，与敬虔真理的知识，

57. Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
为基督耶稣被囚的保罗，同兄弟提摩太，写信给我们所亲爱的同工腓利门，

58. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
神既在古时藉着众先知，多次多方的晓谕列祖，

59. James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
作神和主耶稣基督仆人的雅各，请散住十二个支派之人的安。

60. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
耶稣基督的使徒彼得，写信给那分散在本都，加拉太，加帕多家，亚细亚，庇推尼寄居的。

61. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
作耶稣基督仆人和使徒的西门彼得，写信给那因我们的神，和（有古卷无和字）救主耶稣基督之义，与我们同得一样宝贵信心的人。

62. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
论到从起初原有的生命之道，就是我们所听见所看见的，亲眼看过，亲手摸过的。

63. The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
作长老的写信给蒙拣选的太太，（太太作教会下同），和他的儿女，就是我诚心所爱的。不但我爱，也是一切知道真理之人所爱的。

64. The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
作长老的写信给亲爱的该犹，就是我诚心所爱的。

65. Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
耶稣基督的仆人，雅各的弟兄犹大，写信给那被召，在父神里蒙爱，为耶稣基督保守的人。

66. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
耶稣基督的启示，就是神赐给他，叫他将必要成的事指示他的仆人。他就差遣使者，晓谕他的仆人约翰。
