1. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
第一道名叫比逊，就是环绕哈腓拉全地的。在那里有金子，

2. And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
后来，摩西长大，他出去到他弟兄那里，看他们的重担，见一个埃及人打希伯来人的一个弟兄。

3. No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.
凡献给耶和华的素祭都不可有酵，因为你们不可烧一点酵，一点蜜当作火祭献给耶和华。

4. And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
他军队被数的，共有四万六千五百名。

5. Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.
这以米人像亚衲人。也算为利乏音人。摩押人称他们为以米人。

6. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.
我们一听见这些事，心就消化了。因你们的缘故，并无一人有胆气。耶和华你们的神本是上天下地的神。

7. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:
以色列人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，去事奉诸巴力，

8. And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
波阿斯回答说，自从你丈夫死后，凡你向婆婆所行的，并你离开父母和本地，到素不认识的民中，这些事人全都告诉我了。

9. And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.
以利加拿往拉玛回家去了。那孩子在祭司以利面前事奉耶和华。

10. And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.
大卫在希伯仑作犹大家的王，共七年零六个月。

11. And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
大卫作以色列王四十年，在希伯仑作王七年，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。

12. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
他们正走着说话，忽有火车火马将二人隔开，以利亚就乘旋风升天去了。

13. And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
拿顺生撒门。撒门生波阿斯。

14. Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.
推罗王希兰写信回答所罗门说，耶和华因为爱他的子民，所以立你作他们的王。

15. The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.
比拜的子孙六百二十三名。

16. So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.
我到了耶路撒冷，在那里住了三日。

17. And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
末底改天天在女院前边行走，要知道以斯帖平安不平安，并后事如何。

18. Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
约伯的三个朋友毯螅人以利法，书亚人比勒达，拿玛人琐法，听说有这一切的灾祸临到他身上，各人就从本处约会同来，为他悲伤，安慰他。

19. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
当存畏惧事奉耶和华，又当存战兢而快乐。

20. Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
谋略必护卫你。聪明必保守你。

21. Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
后来我察看我手所经营的一切事，和我劳碌所成的功。谁知都是虚空，都是捕风，在日光之下毫无益处。

22. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
因为冬天已往。雨水止住过去了。

23. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
到那日，眼目高傲的必降为卑，性情狂傲的都必屈膝。惟独耶和华被尊崇。

24. For there is no respect of persons with God.
因为神不偏待人。

25. Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
岂有一国换了他的神吗。其实这不是神。但我的百姓将他们的荣耀换了那无益的神。

26. Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.
我眼中流泪，以致失明，我的心肠扰乱，肝胆涂地，都因我众民遭毁灭，又因孩童和吃奶的在城内街上发昏。

27. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
王所问的事甚难。除了不与世人同居的神明，没有人在王面前能说出来。

28. I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
我也必使她的宴乐，节期，月朔，安息日，并她的一切大会，都止息了。

29. And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
耶和华在他军旅前发声。他的队伍甚大。成就他命的，是强盛者。因为耶和华的日子大而可畏。谁能当得起呢。

30. And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
我从你们子弟中兴起先知，又从你们少年人中兴起拿细耳人。以色列人哪，不是这样吗。这是耶和华说的。

31. If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
若有人心存虚假，用谎言说，我要向你们预言得清酒和浓酒。那人就必作这民的先知。

32. Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?
狮子的洞和少壮狮子喂养之处在哪里呢，公狮母狮小狮游行，无人惊吓之地在哪里呢。

33. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
墙里的石头必呼叫，房内的楝梁必应声。

34. The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.
耶和华必向他们显可畏之威。因他必叫世上的诸神瘦弱，列国海岛的居民各在自己的地方敬拜他。

35. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
万军之耶和华如此说，你要向祭司问律法，

36. And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
那时，必有许多国归附耶和华，作他（原文作我）的子民。他（原文是我）要住在你中间，你就知道万军之耶和华差遣我到你那里去了。

37. Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
犹大人行事诡诈，并且在以色列和耶路撒冷中，行一件可憎的事。因为犹大人亵渎耶和华所喜爱的圣洁（或作圣地），娶事奉外邦神的女子为妻。

38. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
进了房子，看见小孩子和他母亲马利亚，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭开宝盒，拿黄金，乳香，没药为礼物献给他。

39. I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
我吩咐你起来，拿你的褥子回家去吧。

40. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
因今天在大卫的城里，为你们生了救主，就是主基督。

41. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
这是耶稣所行的头一件神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，显出他的荣耀来。他的门徒就信他了。

42. Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
克里特和阿拉伯人，都听见他们用我们的乡谈，讲说神的大能作为。

43. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
除了在人里头的灵，谁知道人的事。像这样，除了神的灵，也没有人知道神的事。

44. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
免得撒但趁着机会胜过我们。因我们并非不晓得他的诡计。

45. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
后来叽法到了安提阿，因他有可责之处，我就当面抵挡他。

46. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
所以你们应当记念，你们从前按肉体是外邦人，是称为没受割礼的，这名原是那些凭人手在肉身上称为受割礼之人所起的。

47. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
无不口称耶稣基督为主，使荣耀归与父神。

48. In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
你们在他里面，也受了不是人手所行的割礼，乃是基督使你们脱去肉体情欲的割礼。

49. As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
你们也晓得我们怎样劝勉你们，安慰你们，嘱咐你们各人，好像父亲待自己的儿女一样。

50. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
故此，神就给他们一个生发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎。

51. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
女人要沉静学道，一味的顺服。

52. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
有可信的话说，我们若与基督同死，也必与他同活。

53. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
因为神救众人的恩典，已经显明出来，

54. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
因那使人成圣的，和那些得以成圣的，都是出于一。所以他称他们为弟兄，也不以为耻，

55. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
原来那说不可奸淫的，也说不可杀人。你就是不奸淫，却杀人，仍是成了犯律法的。

56. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
亲爱的弟兄阿你们是客旅，是寄居的。我劝你们要禁戒肉体的私欲。这私欲是与灵魂争战的。

57. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
就是天使，虽然力量权能更大，还不用毁谤的话在主面前告他们。

58. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
唯独恨弟兄的是在黑暗里，且在黑暗里行，也不知道往那里去，因为黑暗叫他眼睛瞎了。

59. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
圣灵向众教会所说的话，凡有耳的，就应当听。得胜的，必不受第二次死的害。
