1. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
耶和华神说，那人独居不好，我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。

2. And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
她们来到父亲流珥那里，他说，今日你们为何来得这吗快呢。

3. On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
在西边，按着军队是以法莲营的纛。亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛作以法莲人的首领。

4. Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
你今天要从摩押的境界亚珥经过，

5. Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.
我们来到这地的时候，你要把这条朱红线绳系在缒我们下去的窗户上，并要使你的父母，弟兄，和你父的全家都聚集在你家中。

6. And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.
耶和华为他们兴起士师，就与那士师同在。士师在世的一切日子，耶和华拯救他们脱离仇敌的手。他们因受欺压扰害，就哀声叹气，所以耶和华后悔了。

7. And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.
她就把所拾取的带进城去给婆婆看，又把她吃饱了所剩的给了婆婆。

8. But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
那时，撒母耳还是孩子，穿着细麻布的以弗得，侍立在耶和华面前。

9. And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
在那里有洗鲁雅的三个儿子，约押，亚比筛，亚撒黑。亚撒黑脚快如野鹿般。

10. And Bathsheba said, Well; I will speak for thee unto the king.
拔示巴说，好，我必为你对王提说。

11. And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?
以利沙仍然在耶利哥等候他们回到他那里。他对他们说，我岂没有告诉你们不必去吗。

12. And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
希斯仑的儿子迦勒娶阿苏巴和耶略为妻，阿苏巴的儿子是耶设，朔吧，押墩。

13. And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.
使七万人扛抬材料，八万人在山上凿石头，三千六百人督理工作。

14. The children of Jorah, an hundred and twelve.
约拉的子孙一百一十二名。

15. Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
我告诉他们我神施恩的手怎样帮助我，并王对我所说的话。他们就说，我们起来建造吧。于是他们奋勇做这善工。

16. Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
王因以斯帖的缘故给众首领和臣仆设摆大筵席，又豁免各省的租税，并照王的厚意大颁赏赐。

17. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
他的家陷入死地，他的路偏向阴间。

18. Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.
我恨恶一切的劳碌，就是我在日光之下的劳碌。因为我得来的必留给我以后的人。

19. And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
偶像必全然废弃

20. And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
既从律法中受了教训，就晓得神的旨意，也能分别是非（或作也喜爱那美好的事）

21. And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
现今你为何在埃及路上要喝西曷的水呢。你为何在亚述路上要喝大河的水呢。

22. Their heart cried unto the LORD, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
锡安民的心哀求主。锡安的城墙阿，愿你流泪如河，昼夜不息。愿你眼中的瞳人泪流不止。

23. That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
要他们祈求天上的神施怜悯，将这奥秘的事指明，免得但以理和他的同伴与巴比伦其馀的哲士一同灭亡。

24. And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
当那日，我必为我的民，与田野的走兽，和空中的飞鸟，并地上的昆虫立约。又必在国中折断弓刀，止息争战，使他们安然躺卧。

25. Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
耶和华就为自己的地发热心，怜恤他的百姓。

26. What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
雕刻的偶像，人将它刻出来，有什么益处呢。铸造的偶像，就是虚谎的师傅。制造者倚靠这哑巴偶像，有什么益处呢。

27. Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.
你们要追想此日以前，就是从这九月二十四日起，追想到立耶和华殿根基的日子。

28. In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
在拉玛听见号？？大哭的声音，是拉结哭他儿女，不肯受安慰，因为他们都不在了。

29. And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
当下，约翰的门徒和法利赛人禁食。他们来问耶稣说，约翰的门徒和法利赛人的门徒禁食，你的门徒倒不禁食，这是为什么呢。

30. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
凡听见的，就诧异牧羊人对他们所说的话。

31. Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
因此，犹太人问他说，你既作这些事，还显什么神迹给我们看呢。

32. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和使女，他们就要说预言。

33. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
我素来所拆毁的，若重新建造，这就证明自己是犯罪的人。

34. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
因为我们两下藉着他被一个圣灵所感得以进到父面前。

35. For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
你们也要照样喜乐，并且与我一同喜乐。

36. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
不可让人因着故意谦虚，和敬拜天使，就夺去你们的奖赏。这等人拘泥在所见过的，（有古卷作这等人窥察所没有见过的）随着自己的欲心，无故的自高自大，

37. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
所以我们有意到你们那里，我保罗有一两次要去，只是撒但阻挡了我们。

38. Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
他们偏离了真道，说复活的事已过，就败坏好些人的信心。

39. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人。

40. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
必有人说，你有信心，我有行为。你将你没有行为的信心指给我看，我便藉着我的行为，将我的信心指给你看。

41. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
你们作仆人的，凡事要存敬畏的心顺服主人。不但顺服那善良温和的，就是那乖僻的也要顺服。

42. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
他们说虚妄矜夸的大话，用肉身的情欲，和邪淫的事，引诱那些刚才脱离妄行的人。

43. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
小子们哪，如今是末时了。你们曾听见说，那敌基督的要来现在已经有好些敌基督的出来了。从此我们就知道如今是末时了。

44. And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
你要写信给推雅推喇教会的使者，说，那眼目如火焰，脚像光明铜的神之子，说，
