1. And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
耶和华神就用那人身上所取的肋骨，造成一个女人，领她到那人跟前。

2. And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.
西坡拉生了一个儿子，摩西给他起名叫革舜，意思说，因我在外邦作了寄居的。

3. Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
又有便雅悯支派。基多尼的儿子亚比但作便雅悯人的首领。

4. As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
正如耶和华从前为住西珥的以扫子孙将何利人从他们面前除灭，他们得了何利人的地，接着居住一样，直到今日。

5. And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.
二人到山上，在那里住了三天，等着追赶的人回去了。追赶的人一路找他们，却找不着。

6. That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.
为要藉此试验以色列人，看他们肯照他们列祖谨守遵行我的道不肯。

7. And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.
拿俄米对儿妇路得说，女儿阿，你跟着他的使女出去，不叫人遇见你在别人田间，这才为好。

8. Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
以利年甚老迈，听见他两个儿子待以色列众人的事，又听见他们与会幕门前伺候的妇人苟合，

9. And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
押尼珥又对亚撒黑说，你转开不追赶我吧。我何必杀你呢。若杀你，有什么脸见你哥哥约押呢。

10. And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
所罗门王对他母亲说，为何单替他求书念的女子亚比煞呢。也可以为他求国吧。他是我的哥哥，他有祭司亚比亚他和洗鲁雅的儿子约押为辅佐。

11. So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.
于是那水治好了，直到今日，正如以利沙所说的。

12. And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
西割生睚珥。睚珥在基列地有二十三个城邑。

13. The men of Netophah, fifty and six.
尼陀法人五十六名。

14. And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai's name.
末底改知道了，就告诉王后以斯帖。以斯帖奉末底改的名，报告于王。

15. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
惟有恶人必然剪除。奸诈的必然拔出。

16. For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?
人在日光之下劳碌累心，在他一切的劳碌人得着什么呢。

17. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
你们休要依靠世人，他鼻孔里不过有气息。他在一切事上可算什么呢。

18. Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
你说人不可奸淫，自己还奸淫吗。你厌恶偶像，自己还偷窃庙中之物吗。

19. For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
你虽用硷，多用肥皂洗濯，你罪孽的痕迹仍然在我面前显出。这是主耶和华说的。

20. Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.
你招聚四围惊吓我的，像在大会的日子招聚人一样。耶和华发怒的日子，无人逃脱，无人存留。我所摇弄所养育的婴孩，仇敌都杀净了。

21. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
他显明深奥隐秘的事，知道暗中所有的，光明也与他同居。

22. And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
地必应允五谷，新酒，和油，这些必应允耶斯列民（耶斯列就是神栽种的意思）。

23. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
田野的走兽阿，不要惧怕。因为旷野的草发生，树木结果，无花果树。葡萄树也都效力。

24. And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
我必倾覆列国的宝座，除灭列邦的势力，并倾覆战车，和坐在其上的。马必跌倒，骑马的败落，各人被弟兄的刀所杀。

25. But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
只因听见亚基老接着他父亲希律作了犹太王，就怕往那里去。又在梦中被主指示，便往加利利境内去了。

26. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
也每有人把新酒装在旧皮带里。恐怕把皮袋裂开，酒和皮袋就都坏了。惟把新酒装在新皮袋里。

27. And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
按摩西律法满了洁净日子，他们带着孩子上耶路撒冷去，要把他献与主。

28. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
所以到他从死里复活以后，门徒就想起他说过这话，便信了圣经和耶稣所说的。

29. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
以色列人哪，请听我的话。神藉着拿撒勒人耶稣，在你们中间施行异能，奇事，神迹，将他证明出来，这是你们自己知道的。

30. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
你们也靠他同被建造成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

31. But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
但你们知道提摩太的明证，他兴旺福音与我同劳，待我像儿子待父亲一样。

32. Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
这都是照人所吩咐所教导的。说到这一切正用的时候就都败坏了。

33. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
你要逃避少年的私欲，同那清心祷告主的人追求公义，信德，仁爱，和平。

34. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
可见信心是与他的行为并行，而且信心因着行为才得成全。

35. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
他并没有犯罪，口里也没有诡诈。

36. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
俗语说得真不错，狗所吐的他转过来又吃。猪洗净了又回到泥里去辊。这话在他们身上正合式。

37. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
谁是说谎话的呢。不是那不认耶稣为基督的吗。不认父与子的，这就是敌基督的。

38. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
看哪，我要叫他病卧在床，那些与他行淫的人，若不悔改所行的，我也要叫他们同受大患难。
