1. And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
他军队被数的，共有六万二千七百名。

2. And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
我从基底莫的旷野差遣使者去见希实本王西宏，用和睦的话说，

3. And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
孩子撒母耳渐渐长大，耶和华与人越发喜爱他。

4. Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
押尼珥呼叫约押说，刀剑岂可永远杀人吗。你岂不知终久必有苦楚吗。你要等何时才叫百姓回去，不追赶弟兄呢。

5. And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the LORD God before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
王对祭司亚比亚他说，你回亚拿突归自己的田地去吧。你本是该死的，但因你在我父亲大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，又与我父亲同受一切苦难，所以我今日不将你杀死。

6. Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
耶拉篾又娶一妻名叫亚她拉，是阿南的母亲。

7. The children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.
拉玛人，迦巴人共六百二十一名。

8. For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
神喜悦谁，就给谁智慧，知识，和喜乐。惟有罪人，神使他劳苦，叫他将所收聚的，所堆积的，归给神所喜悦的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

9. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
所以那未受割礼的，若遵守律法的条例，他虽然未受割礼，岂不算是有割礼吗。

10. As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,
贼被捉拿，怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王，首领，祭司，先知也都照样羞愧。

11. The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?
王问称为伯提沙撒的但以理说，你能将我所作的梦和梦的讲解告诉我吗。

12. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
你们必多吃，而得饱足，就赞美为你们行奇妙事之耶和华你们神的名。我的百姓，必永远不至羞愧。

13. How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
他当亚比亚他作大祭司的时候，怎样进了神的殿，吃了陈设饼，又给跟从他的人吃。这饼除了祭司以外，人都不可吃。

14. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
他得了圣灵的启示，知道自己未死以前，必看见主所立的基督。

15. Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
所以我心里欢喜，我的灵（原文作舌）快乐。并且我的肉身要安居在指望中。

16. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
他很想念你们众人，并且极其难过，因为你们听见他病了。

17. And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
叫他们这已经被魔鬼任意掳去的，可以醒悟，脱离他的网罗。

18. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
身体没有灵魂是死的，信心没有行为也是死的。

19. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
我将这些话写给你们，是指着那引诱你们的人说的。

20. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
那得胜又遵守我命令到底的，我要赐给他权柄制伏列国。
