1. And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
他军队被数的，共有四万一千五百名。

2. Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;
你可以卖粮给我吃，也可以卖水给我喝，只要容我步行过去，

3. And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?
在以色列众支派中，我不是拣选人作我的祭司，使他烧香，在我坛上献祭，在我面前穿以弗得，又将以色列人所献的火祭都赐给你父家吗。

4. So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
于是约押吹角，众民就站住，不再追赶以色列人，也不再打仗了。

5. Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
约押虽然没有归从押沙龙，却归从了亚多尼雅。他听见这风声，就逃到耶和华的帐幕，抓住祭坛的角。

6. And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.
阿南的儿子是沙买，雅大。沙买的儿子是拿答，亚比述。

7. The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred twenty and three.
伯特利人，艾人共二百二十三名。

8. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
因为外面作犹太人的，不是真犹太人，外面肉身的割礼，也不是真割礼。

9. But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
你为自己作的神在哪里呢。你遭遇患难的时候，叫他们起来拯救你吧。犹大阿，你神的数目与你城的数目相等。

10. But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;
只有一位在天上的神能显明奥秘的事。他已将日后必有的事指示尼布甲尼撒王。你的梦和你在床上脑中的异象是这样，

11. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
以后，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言。你们的老年人要作异梦。少年人要见异象。

12. Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
所以人子也是安息日的主

13. Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
西面就用手接过他来，称颂神说，

14. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
你已将生命的道路指示我，必叫我因见你的面，（或作叫我在你面前）得着满足的快乐。

15. I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
所以我越发急速打发他去，叫你们再见他，就可以喜乐，我也可以少些忧愁。

16. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
小子们哪，你们要住在主里面。这样，他若显现，我们就可以坦然无惧。当他来的时候，在他面前也不至于惭愧。

17. And I will give him the morning star.
我又要把晨星赐给他。
