1. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
野地还没有草木，田间的菜蔬还没有长起来，因为耶和华神还没有降雨在地上，也没有人耕地。

2. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
法老的女儿来到河边洗澡，她的使女们在河边行走。她看见箱子在芦荻中，就打发一个婢女拿来。

3. And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
若用铁鏊上作的物为素祭，就要用调油的无酵细面，

4. And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.
挨着他安营的是以萨迦支派。有苏押的儿子拿坦业作以萨迦人的首领。

5. Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
不可与他们争战。他们的地，连脚掌可踏之处，我都不给你们，因我已将西珥山赐给以扫为业。

6. And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.
天黑，要关城门的时候，他们出去了，往哪里去我却不知道。你们快快地去追赶，就必追上。

7. And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the LORD.
于是给那地方起名叫波金（就是哭的意思）。众人在那里向耶和华献祭。

8. Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?
波阿斯问监管收割的仆人说，那是谁家的女子。

9. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
素来饱足的，反作用人求食。饥饿的，再不饥饿。不生育的，生了七个儿子。多有儿女的，反倒衰微。

10. And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.
大卫就差人去见基列雅比人，对他们说，你们厚待你们的主扫罗，将他葬埋。愿耶和华赐福与你们。

11. Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
你知道洗鲁雅的儿子约押向我所行的，就是杀了以色列的两个元帅，尼珥的儿子押尼珥和益帖的儿子亚玛撒。他在太平之时流这二人的血，如在争战之时一样，将这血染了腰间束的带和脚上穿的鞋。

12. And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
住耶利哥的先知门徒就近以利沙，对他说，耶和华今日要接你的师傅离开你，你知道不知道。他说，我知道，你们不要作声。

13. The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
法勒斯的儿子是希斯仑，哈母勒。

14. And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
我所要建造的殿宇甚大。因为我们的神至大，超乎诸神。

15. The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.
亚拉的子孙七百七十五名。

16. And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.
我对王说，仆人若在王眼前蒙恩，王若喜欢，求王差遣我往犹大，到我列祖坟墓所在的那城去，我好重新建造。

17. Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
书珊城有一个犹大人，名叫末底改，是便雅悯人基士的曾孙，示每的孙子，睚珥的儿子。

18. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
你且伸手伤他的骨头和他的肉，他必当面弃掉你。

19. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
那时他要在怒中责备他们，在烈怒中惊吓他们，

20. Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
你就明白敬畏耶和华，得以认识神。

21. I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:
修造园囿，在其中栽种各样果木树，

22. Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
求你们给我葡萄乾增补我力，给我苹果畅快我心，因我思爱成病。

23. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
雅各家阿，来吧，我们在耶和华的光明中行走。

24. But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
你竟任着你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己积蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，显出他公义审判的日子来到。

25. Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
耶和华如此说，你们的列祖见我有什么不义，竟远离我，随从虚无的神，自己成为虚妄的呢。

26. The LORD was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
主如仇敌吞灭以色列和锡安的一切宫殿，拆毁百姓的保障。在犹大民中加增悲伤哭号。

27. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
他们或听，或不听，（他们是悖逆之家），必知道在他们中间有了先知。

28. The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
王回答迦勒底人说，梦我已经忘了（或作我已定命八节同），你们若不将梦和梦的讲解告诉我，就必被凌迟，你们的房屋必成为粪堆。

29. For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.
他们的母亲行了淫乱，怀他们的母做了可羞耻的事，因为她说，我要随从所爱的，我的饼，水，羊毛，麻，油，酒都是他们给的。

30. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
在山顶蹦跳的响声，如车辆的响声，又如火焰烧碎秸的响声，好像强盛的民摆阵豫备打仗。

31. But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
我却要降火在犹大，烧灭耶路撒冷的宫殿。

32. The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
诸水环绕我，几乎淹没我。深渊围住我，海草缠绕我的头。

33. Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
所以，在耶和华的会中，你必没有人拈阄拉准绳。

34. He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.
尼尼微王招聚他的贵胄。他们步行绊跌。速上城墙，预备挡牌。

35. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
迦勒底人因酒诡诈，狂傲，不住在家中，扩充心欲，好像阴间。他如死不能知足，聚集万国，堆积万民，都归自己。

36. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
住沿海之地的基利提族有祸了。迦南，非利士人之地阿，耶和华的话与你反对，说，我必毁灭你，以致无人居住。

37. According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
这是照着你们出埃及我与你们立约的话。那时，我的灵住在你们中间。你们不要惧怕。

38. For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
耶和华说，我要作耶路撒冷四围的火城，并要作其中的荣耀。

39. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
我曾与他立生命和平安的约。我将这两样赐给他，使他存敬畏的心，他就敬畏我，惧怕我的名。

40. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
他们回答说，在犹太的伯利恒。因为有先知记着说，

41. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
耶稣见他们的信心，就对瘫子说，小子，你的罪赦了。

42. To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
要和他所聘之妻马利亚，一同报名上册。那时马利亚的身孕已经重了。

43. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
他母亲对用人说，他告诉你们什么，你们就作什么。

44. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
那时，有虔诚的犹太人，从天下各国来，住在耶路撒冷。

45. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
叫你们的信不在乎人的智慧，只在乎神的大能。

46. But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
若有叫人忧愁的，他不但叫我忧愁，也是叫你们众人有几分忧愁，我说几分，恐怕说得太重。

47. To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
我们就是一刻的工夫，也没有容让顺服他们，为要叫福音的真理仍存在你们中间。

48. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
当我们死在过犯中的时候，便叫我们与基督一同活过来。（你们得救是本乎恩）

49. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
你们当以基督耶稣的心为心。

50. For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
我身子虽与你们相离，心却与你们同在，见你们循规蹈矩，信基督的心也坚固，我就欢喜了。

51. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
因为我们从来没有用过谄媚的话，这是你们知道的。也没有藏着贪心，这是神可以作见证的。

52. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
我还在你们那里的时候，曾把这些事告诉你们，你们不记得吗。

53. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
因为只有一位神，在神和人中间，只有一位中保，乃是降世为人的基督耶稣。

54. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
人若在场上比武，非按规矩，就不能得冠冕。

55. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
谨守贞洁，料理家务，待人有恩，顺服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毁谤。

56. For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
我们所说将来的世界，神原没有交给天使管辖。

57. Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
我亲爱的弟兄们请听，神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，叫他们在信上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗。

58. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
你们来到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督奉献神所悦纳的灵祭。

59. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
神也没有宽容上古的世代，曾叫洪水临到那不敬虔的世代，却保护了传义道的挪亚一家八口。

60. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
凡遵守主道的，爱神的心在他里面实在是完全的，从此我们知道我们是在主里面。

61. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
所以应当回想你是从那里坠落的，并要悔改，行起初所行的事。你若不悔改，我就临到你那里，把你的灯台从原处挪去。
