1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
天地万物都造齐了。

2. And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
所罗门定意要为耶和华的名建造殿宇，又为自己的国建造宫室。

3. And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.
有一个利未家的人娶了一个利未女子为妻。

4. And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
若有人献素祭为供物给耶和华，要用细面浇上油，加上乳香，

5. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
耶和华晓谕摩西，亚伦说，

6. Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
此后，我们转回，从红海的路往旷野去，是照耶和华所吩咐我的。我们在西珥山绕行了许多日子。

7. And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
当下，嫩的儿子约书亚从什亭暗暗打发两个人作探子，吩咐说，你们去窥探那地和耶利哥。于是二人去了，来到一个妓女名叫喇合的家里，就在那里躺卧。

8. And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
耶和华的使者从吉甲上到波金，对以色列人说，我使你们从埃及上来，领你们到我向你们列祖起誓应许之地。我又说，我永不废弃与你们所立的约。

9. And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.
拿俄米的丈夫以利米勒的亲族中，有一个人名叫波阿斯，是一个大财主。

10. And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
哈拿祷告说，我的心因耶和华快乐。我的角因耶和华高举。我的口向仇敌张开。我因耶和华的救恩欢欣。

11. And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
此后，大卫问耶和华说，我上犹大的一个城去可以吗。耶和华说，可以。大卫说，我上哪一个城去呢。耶和华说，上希伯仑去。

12. Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying,
大卫的死期临近了，就嘱吩他儿子所罗门说，

13. And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
耶和华要用旋风接以利亚升天的时候，以利亚与以利沙从吉甲前往。

14. These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
以色列的儿子是流便，西缅，利未，犹大，以萨迦，西布伦，

15. Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，从前掳到巴比伦之犹大省的人，现在他们的子孙，从被掳到之地，回耶路撒冷和犹大，各归本城。

16. And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
亚达薛西王二十年尼散月，在王面前摆酒，我拿起酒来奉给王。我素来在王面前没有愁容。

17. After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
这事以后，亚哈随鲁王的忿怒止息，就想念瓦实提和她所行的，并怎样降旨办她。

18. Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
又有一天，神的众子来侍立在耶和华面前，撒但也来在其中。

19. Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
外邦为什么争闹，万民为什么谋算虚妄的事。

20. My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
我儿，你若领受我的言语，存记我得命令，

21. I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.
我心里说，来吧，我以喜乐试试你，你好享福。谁知道，这也是虚空。

22. I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
我是沙仑的玫瑰花（或作水仙花），是谷中的百合花。

23. The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚得默示，论到犹大和耶路撒冷。

24. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
你这论断人的，无论你是谁，也无可推诿，你在什么事上论断人，就在什么事上定自己的罪。因你这论断人的，自己所行却和别人一样。

25. Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
耶和华的话临到我说，

26. How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
主何竟发怒，使黑云遮蔽锡安城。他将以色列的华美从天扔在地上。在他发怒的日子并不记念自己的脚凳。

27. And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
他对我说，人子阿，你站起来，我要和你说话。

28. And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.
尼布甲尼撒在位第二年，他作了梦，心里烦乱，不能睡觉。

29. Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.
你们要称你们的弟兄为阿米（就是我民的意思），称你们的姊妹为路哈玛（就是蒙怜悯的意思）。

30. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
你们要在锡安吹角，在我圣山吹出大声。国中的居民，都要发颤。因为耶和华的日子将到，已经临近。

31. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
耶和华如此说，摩押三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她将以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。

32. Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
约拿在鱼腹中祷告耶和华他的神，

33. Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
祸哉，那些在床上图谋罪孽，造作奸恶的。天一发亮，因手有能力就行出来了。

34. He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.
尼尼微阿，那打碎邦国的上来攻击你。你要看守保障，谨防道路，使腰强壮，大大勉力。

35. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
我要站在守望所，立在望楼上观看，看耶和华对我说什么话，我可用什么话向他诉冤。（向他诉冤或作回答所疑问的）。

36. Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
不知羞耻的国民哪，你们应当聚集。趁命令没有发出，日子过去如风前的糠，

37. In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
七月二十一日，耶和华的话临到先知哈该说，

38. I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
我又举目观看，见一人手拿准绳。

39. And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
众祭司阿，这诫命是传给你们的。

40. Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
当希律王的时候，耶稣生在犹太的伯利恒。有几个博士从东方来到耶路撒冷，说，

41. And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
过了些日子，耶稣又进了迦百农。人听见他在房子里，

42. And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
当那些日子，凯撒奥古斯都有旨下来，叫天下人民都报名上册。

43. And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
第三日，在加利利的迦拿有娶亲的筵席。耶稣的母亲在那里。

44. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
五旬节到了，门徒都聚集在一处。

45. And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
弟兄们，从前我到你们那里去，并没有用高言大智对你们宣传神的奥秘。

46. But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
我自己定了主意，再到你们那里去，必须大家没有忧愁。

47. Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
过了十四年，我同巴拿巴又上耶路撒冷去，并带着提多同去。

48. And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
你们死在过犯罪恶之中，他叫你们活过来，

49. If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
所以在基督里若有什么劝勉，爱心有什么安慰，圣灵有什么交通，心中有什么慈悲怜悯，

50. For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
我愿意你们晓得我为你们和老底嘉人，并一切没有与我亲自见面的人，是何等的尽心竭力。

51. For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
弟兄们，你们自己原晓得我们进到你们那里，并不是徒然的。

52. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
弟兄们，论到我们主耶稣基督降临，和我们到他那里聚集，

53. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
我劝你第一要为万人恳求祷告，代求，祝谢。

54. Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
我儿阿，你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来。

55. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
但你所讲的，总要合乎那纯正的道理。

56. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
所以我们当越发郑重所听见的道理，恐怕我们随流失去。

57. My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
我的弟兄们，你们信奉我们荣耀的主耶稣基督，便不可按着外貌待人。

58. Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
所以你们既除去一切的恶毒（或作阴毒），诡诈，并假善，嫉妒，和一切毁谤的话，

59. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
从前在百姓中有假先知起来，将来在你们中间，也必有假师傅，私自引进害人的异端，连买他们的主他们也不承认，自取速速的灭亡。

60. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。

61. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
你要写信给以弗所教会的使者，说，那右手拿着七星，在七个金灯台中间行走的，说，
