1. And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
该隐对耶和华说，我的刑罚太重，过于我所能当的。

2. And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
摩西说，主阿，你愿意打发谁，就打发谁去吧。

3. And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
以色列全会众若行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，是隐而未现，会众看不出来的，

4. And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
要收去坛上的灰，把紫色毯子铺在坛上。

5. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
他将所吩咐你们当守的约指示你们，就是十条诫，并将这诫写在两块石版上。

6. About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.
约有四万人都准备打仗，在耶和华面前过去，到耶利哥的平原，等候上阵。

7. And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
西西拉就聚集所有的铁车九百辆和跟随他的全军，从外邦人的夏罗设出来，到了基顺河。

8. So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
于是，波阿斯娶了路得为妻，与她同房。耶和华使她怀孕生了一个儿子。

9. And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching: for his heart trembled for the ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.
到了的时候，以利正在道旁坐在自己的位上观望，为神的约柜心里担忧。那人进城报信，合城的人就都呼喊起来。

10. The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
在基列的拉末有便基别，他管理在基列的玛拿西子孙睚珥的城邑，巴珊的亚珥歌伯地的大城六十座，都有城墙和铜闩。

11. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.
以利沙吩咐仆人说，你对她说，你既为我们费了许多心思，可以为你作什么呢。你向王或元帅有所求的没有。她回答说，我在我本乡安居无事。

12. And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.
基纳斯的儿子是俄陀聂，西莱雅。俄陀聂的儿子是哈塔。

13. And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.
和四百石榴，安在两个网子上，每网两行盖着两个柱上如球的顶。

14. Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.
如今王该知道，他们若建造这城，城墙完毕就不再与王进贡，交课，纳税，终久王必受亏损。

15. Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
嚣以我使百姓各按宗族拿刀，拿枪，拿弓站在城墙后边低洼的空处。

16. Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.
末底改托人回覆以斯帖说，你莫想在王宫里强过一切犹大人，得免这祸。

17. In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
在思念夜中，异象之间，世人沉睡的时候。

18. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
要持定训诲，不可放松。必当谨守，因为他是你的生命。

19. Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
贫穷而有智慧的少年人，胜过年老不肯纳谏的愚昧王。

20. Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,
你园内所种的结了石榴，有佳美的果子，并凤仙花与哪哒树。

21. For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
那创山，造风，将心意指示人，使晨光变为幽暗，脚踏在地之高处的。他的名是耶和华万军之神。

22. Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
看哪，仇敌必如云上来。他的战车如旋风，他的马匹比鹰更快。我们有祸了。我们败落了。

23. For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,
这都因她先知的罪恶和祭司的罪孽。他们在城中流了义人的血。

24. And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
耶和华说，以色列人在我所赶他们到的各国中，也必这样吃不洁净的食物。

25. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
我在床上脑中的异象，见有一位守望的圣者从天而降。

26. They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
在各山顶，各高冈的橡树，杨树，栗树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。所以，你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇（或作儿妇下同）行淫。

27. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
锡安的民（民原文作女子）哪，起来踹谷吧。我必使你的角成为铁，使你的蹄成为铜。你必打碎多国的民。将他们的财献与耶和华，将他们的货献与普天下的主。

28. And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
他对我说，你不知道这是什么意思吗。我说，主阿，我不知道。

29. And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
后又离开拿撒勒，往迦百农去，就住在那里。那地方靠海，在西布伦和拿弗他利的边界上。

30. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
又对他们说，你们不明白这比喻吗。这样怎能明白一切的比喻呢。

31. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
魔鬼用完了各样的试探，就暂时离开耶稣。

32. Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
耶稣回答说，凡喝这水的，还要再渴。

33. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
他们见彼得约翰的胆量，又看出他们原是没有学问的小民，就希奇，认明他们是跟过耶稣的。

34. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
因为神应许亚伯拉罕和他后裔，必得承受世界，不是因律法，乃是因信而得的义。

35. Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
被人毁谤，我们就善劝。直到如今，人还把我们看作世界上的污秽，万物中的渣滓。

36. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
但我们既有信心，正如经上记着说，我因信，所以如此说话。我们也信，所以也说话。

37. Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
你们知道我头一次传福音给你们，是因为身体有疾病。

38. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
直等到我们众人在真道上同归于一，认识神的儿子，得以长大成人，满有基督长成的身量。

39. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能作。

40. For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
他为你们和老底嘉并希拉波立的弟兄，多多的劳苦。这是我可以给他作见证的。

41. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
论到睡了的人，我们不愿意弟兄们不知道，恐怕你们忧伤，像那些没有指望的人一样。

42. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
你要以宣读，劝勉，教导为念，直等到我来。

43. The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
我在特罗亚留于加布的那件外衣，你来的时候可以带来。那些书也要带来。更要紧的是那些皮卷。

44. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
并且被造的，没有一样在他面前不显然的。原来万物，在那与我们有关系的主眼前，都是赤露敞开的。

45. Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
？？，你们有话说，今天明天我们要往某城里去，在那里住一年，作买卖得利。

46. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
倒要欢喜。因为你们是与基督一同受苦，使你们在他荣耀显现的时候，也可以欢喜快乐。

47. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
神将他的灵赐给我们，从此就知道我们是住在他里面，他也住在我们里面。
