1. And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
亚大生雅八。雅八就是住帐棚，牧养牲畜之人的祖师。

2. And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
摩西就带着妻子和两个儿子，叫他们骑上驴，回埃及地去。摩西手里拿着神的杖。

3. And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
收拾赦牛，与那赎罪祭的牛一样。祭司要为他们赎罪，他们必蒙赦免。

4. But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
只是他们连片时不可进去观看圣所，免得他们死亡。

5. But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.
耶和华将你们从埃及领出来，脱离铁炉，要特作自己产业的子民，像今日一样。

6. And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
他们从约旦河中取来的那十二块石头，约书亚就立在吉甲，

7. Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.
西西拉又对雅亿说，请你站在帐棚门口，若有人来问你说，有人在这里没有。你就说，没有。

8. And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,
亚米拿达生拿顺，拿顺生撒门。

9. And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it.
将要死的时候，旁边站着的妇人们对她说，不要怕。你生了男孩子了。她却不回答，也不放在心上。

10. Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
犹大人和以色列人如同海边的沙那样多，都吃喝快乐。

11. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.
仆人抱去，交给他母亲。孩子坐在母亲的膝上，到晌午就死了。

12. And the sons of Shimon were, Amnon, and Rinnah, Benhanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi were, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
示门的儿子是暗嫩，林拿，便哈南，提伦。以示的儿子是梭黑与便梭黑。

13. Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
并精金的灯台和灯盏，可以照例点在内殿前。

14. There have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, which have ruled over all countries beyond the river; and toll, tribute, and custom, was paid unto them.
从前耶路撒冷也有大君王统管河西全地，人就给他们进贡，交课，纳税。

15. In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us.
你们听见角声在哪里，就聚集到我们那里去。我们的神必为我们争战。

16. They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
早晚之间，就被毁灭，永归无有，无人理会。

17. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
我儿，要留心听我的言词，侧耳听我的话语。

18. Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
毁坏的信息连络不绝，因为全地荒废。我的帐棚忽然毁坏。我的幔子顷刻破裂。

19. The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen.
耶和华的受膏者好比我们鼻中的气，在他们的坑中被捉住。我们曾论到他说，我们必在他荫下，在列国中存活。

20. The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;
你所见的树渐长，而且坚固，高得顶天，从地极都能看见。

21. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
他们就立刻舍了网，跟从了他。

22. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
那撒在好地上的，就是人听道，又领受，并且结实，有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。

23. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
于是把书卷起来，交还执事，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。

24. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
我们的祖宗在这山上礼拜。你们倒说，应当礼拜的地方是在耶路撒冷。

25. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
我们所看见所听见的，不能不说。

26. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
并且仰望神的应许，总没有因不信，心里起疑惑。反倒因信，心里得坚固，将荣耀归给神。

27. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
因为神的国不在乎言语，乃在乎权能。

28. I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
我巴不得现今在你们那里，改换口气，因我为你们，心里作难。

29. But ye have not so learned Christ;
你们学了基督，却不是这样。

30. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
愿荣耀归给我们的父神，直到永永远远。阿们。

31. Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
以拉都在哥林多住下了。特罗非摩病了，我就留他在米利都。

32. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
人若说，我爱神，却恨他的弟兄，就是说谎话的。不爱他所看见的弟兄，就不能爱没有看见的神。（有古卷作怎能爱没有看见的神呢）。
