1. And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
给他起名叫挪亚,说,这个儿子必为我们的操作和手中的劳苦安慰我们。这操作劳苦是因为耶和华咒诅地。

2. This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
妻子背着丈夫行了污秽的事,

3. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
惟愿他们存这样的心敬畏我,常遵守我的一切诫命,使他们和他们的子孙永远得福。

4. Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
聪明的宫女安慰她(原文作回答她),她也自言自语地说,

5. Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
他们要吼叫像母狮子,咆哮像少壮狮子。他们要咆哮抓食,坦然叼去,无人救回。

6. Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
耶和华说,我岂不因这些事讨罪呢。岂不报复这样的国民呢。

7. Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
伯沙撒下令,人就把紫袍给但以理穿上,把金链给他戴在颈项上,又传令使他在国中位列第三。

8. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
若是你的右眼叫你跌倒,就挖出来丢掉。宁可失去百体中的一体,不叫全身丢在地狱里。

9. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
于是他血漏的源头,立刻乾了。他便觉得身上的灾病好了。

10. And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
利未在自己家里,为耶稣大摆筵席。有许多税吏和别人,与他们一同坐席。

11. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
行善的复活得生,作恶的复活定罪。

12. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
彼得和众使徒回答说,顺从神,不顺从人,是应当的。

13. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
从来没有人恨恶自己的身子,总是保养顾惜,正像基督待教会一样。
