1. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
亚当活到一百三十岁，生了一个儿子，形像样式和自己相似，就给他起名叫塞特。

2. And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
他们说，希伯来人的神遇见了我们。求你容我们往旷野去，走三天的路程，祭祀耶和华我们的神，免得他用瘟疫，刀兵攻击我们。

3. Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
或是他摸了别人的污秽，无论是染了什么污秽，他却不知道，一知道了就有了罪。

4. Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
无论男女都要使他们出到营外，免得污秽他们的营。这营是我所住的。

5. The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
这约不是与我们列祖立的，乃是与我们今日在这里存活之人立的。

6. And Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.
约书亚就制造了火石刀，在除皮山那里给以色列人行割礼。

7. Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
君王阿，要听。王子阿，要侧耳而听。我要向耶和华歌唱，我要歌颂耶和华以色列的神。

8. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
次日清早，亚实突人起来，见大衮仆倒在耶和华的约柜前，脸伏于地，就把大衮仍立在原处。

9. So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
于是以色列的长老都来到希伯仑见大卫王，大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约，他们就膏大卫作以色列的王。

10. Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
你知道我父亲大卫因四围的争战，不能为耶和华他神的名建殿，直等到耶和华使仇敌都服在他脚下。

11. And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
她对主母说，巴不得我主人去见撒马利亚的先知，必能治好他的大麻疯。

12. The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
以色列长子流便的儿子是哈诺，法路，希斯伦，迦米。

13. Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.
于是以色列众人在七月节前都聚集到王那里。

14. At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
当时河西的总督达乃和示他波斯乃，并他们的同党来问说，谁降旨让你们建造这殿，修成这墙呢。

15. Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.
有的说，我们典了田地，葡萄园，房屋，得粮食充饥。

16. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
王对她说，王后以斯帖阿，你要什么。你求什么，就是国的一半也必赐给你。

17. I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
我曾见愚妄人扎下根，但我忽然咒诅他的住处。

18. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
耶和华阿，早晨你必听我的声音。早晨我必向你陈明我的心意，并要儆醒。

19. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
因为淫妇的嘴滴下蜂蜜，他的口比油更滑。

20. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.
事务多，就令人作梦，言语多，就显出愚昧。

21. I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
我回答说，我脱了衣裳，怎能再穿上呢。我洗了脚，怎能再玷污呢。

22. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
耶路撒冷的居民，和犹大人哪，请你们现今在我与我的葡萄园中断定是非。

23. For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
主耶和华如此说，以色列家的城，发出一千兵的，只剩一百，发出一百的，只剩十个。

24. O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
耶和华阿，你的眼目不是看顾诚实吗。你击打他们，他们却不伤恸。你毁灭他们，他们仍不受惩治。他们使脸刚硬过于磐石，不肯回头。

25. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.
我们是无父的孤儿。我们的母亲好像寡妇。

26. Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
你要从其中取几根包在衣襟里，

27. Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.
于是他们把耶路撒冷神殿库房中所掠的金器皿拿来，王和大臣，皇后，妃嫔就用这器皿饮酒。

28. I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
以法莲为我所知，以色列不能向我隐藏。以法莲哪，现在你行淫了，以色列被玷污了。

29. Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
耶和华必将以色列人交付敌人，直等那生产的妇人生下子来。那时掌权者（原文作他）其馀的弟兄必归到以色列人那里。

30. Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
他对我说，这是发出行在遍地上的咒诅。凡偷窃的必按卷上这面的话除灭。凡起假誓的必按卷上那面的话除灭。

31. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
虚心的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。

32. Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
那人常住在坟茔里，没有人能捆住他，就是用铁链也不能。

33. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
有一只船，是西门的，耶稣就上去，请他把船撑开，稍微离岸，就坐下，从船上教训众人。

34. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
里面躺着瞎眼的，瘸腿的，血气枯乾的，许多病人。（有古卷在此有等候水动

35. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
彼得说，亚拿尼亚为什么撒但充满了你的心，叫你欺哄圣灵，把田地的价银私自留下几分呢。

36. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
不但如此，就是在患难中，也是欢欢喜喜的。因为知道患难生忍耐。

37. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
我身子虽不在你们那里，心却在你们那里，好像我亲自与你们同在，已经判断了行这事的人，

38. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
倘若穿上，被遇见的时候就不至于赤身了。

39. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
我再指着凡受割礼的人确实的说，他是欠着行全律法的债。

40. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
至于淫乱，并一切污秽，或是贪婪，在你们中间连题都不可，方合圣徒的体统。

41. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
人正说平安稳妥的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同叁难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

42. Honour widows that are widows indeed.
要尊敬那真为寡妇的。

43. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
故此他理当为百姓和自己献祭赎罪。

44. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
你们的金银都长了锈。那锈要证明你们的不是，又要吃你们的肉，如同火烧。你们在这末世，只知积攒钱财。

45. Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
也不是辖制所托付你们的，乃是作群羊的榜样。

46. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
我们遵守神的诫命，这就是爱他了。并且他的诫命不是难守的。

47. And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
在天上，地上，地底下，没有能展开能观看那书卷的。
