1. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
耶和华你们神所吩咐你们行的，你们都要去行，使你们可以存活得福，并使你们的日子在所要承受的地上得以长久。

2. Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
你们又听见有吩咐古人的话，说，不可背誓，所起的誓，总要向主谨守。

3. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
那女人知道在自己身上所成的事，就恐惧战竞，来俯伏在耶稣跟前，将实情全告诉他。

4. And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
他们说，约翰的门徒屡次禁食祈祷，法利赛人的门徒也是这样。惟独你的门徒又吃又喝。

5. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
你们曾差人到约翰那里，他为真理作过见证。

6. When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
公会的人听见就极其恼怒，想要杀他们。

7. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
然而你们各人都当爱妻子，如同爱自己一样。妻子也当敬重他的丈夫。
