1. Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
你们听见有话说，以眼还眼，以牙还牙。

2. And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
他们来到管会堂的家里，耶稣看见那里乱囔，并有人大大的哭泣哀号。

3. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
但新酒必须装在新皮袋里。

4. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
你们并没有他的道存在心里。因为他所差来的，你们不信。

5. And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
现在我劝你们不要管这些人，任凭他们吧，他们所谋的，所行的，若是出于人，必要败坏。
