1. And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
亚当生塞特之后,又在世八百年,并且生儿养女。

2. And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.
埃及王对他们说,摩西,亚伦,你们为什么叫百姓旷工呢。你们去担你们的担子吧。

3. Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
或是有人嘴里冒失发誓,要行恶,要行善,无论人在什么事上冒失发誓,他却不知道,一知道了就要在这其中的一件上有了罪。

4. And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
以色列人就这样行,使他们出到营外。耶和华怎样吩咐摩西,以色列人就怎样行了。

5. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
耶和华在山上,从火中,面对面与你们说话。

6. And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt.
约书亚行割礼的缘故,是因为从埃及出来的众民,就是一切能打仗的男丁,出了埃及以后,都死在旷野的路上。

7. LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
耶和华阿,你从西珥出来,由以东地行走。那时地震天漏,云也落雨。

8. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
又次日清早起来,见大衮仆倒在耶和华的约柜前,脸伏于地,并且大衮的头和两手都在门槛上折断,只剩下大衮的残体。

9. David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
大卫登基的时候年三十岁,在位四十年。

10. But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
现在耶和华我的神使我四围平安,没有仇敌,没有灾祸。

11. And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
乃缦进去,告诉他主人说,以色列国的女子如此如此说。

12. The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
约珥的儿子是示玛雅。示玛雅的儿子是歌革。歌革的儿子是示每。

13. And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
以色列众长老来到,利未人便抬起约柜。

14. Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?
我们便告诉他们建造这殿的人叫什么名字。

15. There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards.
有的说,我们已经指着田地,葡萄园,借了钱给王纳税。

16. And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
以斯帖说,王若以为美,就请王带着哈曼,今日赴我所预备的筵席。

17. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.
他的儿女远离稳妥的地步,在城门口被压,并无人搭救。

18. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
因为你不是喜悦恶事的神。恶人不能与你同居。

19. But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
至终却苦似茵??,快如两刃的刀。

20. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
你向神许愿,偿还不可迟延。因他不喜悦愚昧人。所以你许的愿应当偿还。

21. My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.
我的良人从门孔里伸进手来,我便因他动了心。

22. What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
现在我告诉你们,我要向我葡萄园甚样行。

23. For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
耶和华向以色列家如此说,你们要寻求我,就必存活。

24. Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
我说,这些人实在是贫穷的,是愚昧的,因为不晓得耶和华的作为和他们神的法则。

25. We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
我们出钱才得水喝。我们的柴是人卖给我们的。

26. Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
再从这几根中取些扔在火中焚烧,从里面必有火出来烧入以色列全家。

27. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
他们饮酒,赞美金,银,铜,铁,木,石所造的神。

28. They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
他们所行的使他们不能归向神,因有淫心在他们里面,他们也不认识耶和华。

29. And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
他必起来,倚靠耶和华的大能,并耶和华他神之名的威严,牧养他的羊群。他们要安然居住。因为他必日见尊大,直到地极。

30. I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
万军之耶和华说,我必使这书卷出去,进入偷窃人的家,和指我名起假誓人的家,必常在他家里,连房屋带木石都毁灭了。

31. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
哀恸的人有福了,因为他们必得安慰。

32. Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
因为人屡次用脚镣和铁链捆锁他,铁链竟被他挣断了,脚镣也被他弄碎了。总没有人能制伏他。

33. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
讲完了,对西门说,把船开到水深之处,下网打鱼。

34. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
因为有天使按时下池搅动那水,水动之后,谁先下去,无论什么病,就痊愈了)。

35. Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
田地还没有卖,不是你自己的吗。既卖了,价银不是你作主吗。你怎吗心起这意念呢。你不是欺哄人,是欺哄神了。

36. And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
忍耐生老练。老练生盼望。

37. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
就是你们聚会的时候,我的心也同在,奉我们主耶稣的名,并用我们主耶稣的权能,

38. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
我们在这帐棚里,叹息劳苦,并非愿意脱下这个,乃是愿意穿上那个,好叫这必死的被生命吞灭了。

39. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
你们这要靠律法称义的,是与基督隔绝,从恩典中坠落了。

40. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
淫词,妄语,和戏笑的话,都不相宜,总要说感谢的话。

41. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
弟兄们,你们却不在黑暗里,叫那日子临到你们像贼一样。

42. But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
若寡妇有儿女,或有孙子孙女,便叫他们先在自己的家中学着行孝,报答亲恩,因为这在神面前是可悦纳的。

43. And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
这大祭司的尊荣,没有人自取,惟要蒙神所召,像亚伦一样。

44. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
工人给你们收割庄稼,你们亏欠他们的工钱。这工钱有声音呼叫。并且那收割之人的冤声,已经入了万军之主的耳了。

45. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
到了牧长显现的时候,你们必得那永不衰残的荣耀冠冕。

46. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
因为凡从神生的,就胜过世界。使我们胜了世界的,就是我们的信心。

47. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
因为没有配展开,配观看那书卷的,我就大哭。
