1. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
挪亚就这样行。凡神所吩咐的,他都照样行了。

2. And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
乌薛的儿子是米沙利,以利撒反,西提利。

3. And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.
亚伦的子孙中,接续他为受膏的祭司,要把这素祭献上,要全烧给耶和华。这是永远的定例。

4. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
耶和华晓谕摩西说,

5. And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
在我们眼前,将重大可怕的神迹奇事施行在埃及地和法老并他全家的身上,

6. But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.
约书亚吩咐窥探地的两个人说,你们进那妓女的家,照着你们向她所起的誓,将那女人和她所有的都从那里带出来。

7. And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O LORD God! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.
基甸见他是耶和华的使者,就说,哀哉。主耶和华阿,我不好了,因为我觌面看见耶和华的使者。

8. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.
我也必更加卑微,自己看为轻贱。你所说的那些婢女,她们倒要尊敬我。

9. And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
全殿都贴上金子,直到贴完。内殿前的坛,也都用金包裹。

10. And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.
回答说,不可击杀他们。就是你用刀用弓掳来的,岂可击杀他们吗(或作也不可击杀,何况这些人呢)。当在他们面前设摆饮食,使他们吃喝回到他们的主人那里。

11. The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
哥辖的儿子是亚米拿达。亚米拿达的儿子是可拉。可拉的儿子是亚惜。

12. If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;
人若得罪邻舍,有人叫他起誓,他来到这殿,在你的坛前起誓,

13. And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七日。因为耶和华使他们欢喜,又使亚述王的心转向他们,坚固他们的手,作以色列神殿的工程。

14. Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?
我岂说,请你们供给我,从你们的财物中送礼物给我。

15. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
你行走,他必引导你。你躺卧,他必保守你。你睡醒,他必与你谈论。

16. Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.
耶和华如此说,看哪,有一种民从北方而来,并有一大国被激动,从地极来到。

17. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
我的神差遣使者,封住狮子的口,叫狮子不伤我。因我在神面前无辜,我在王面前也没有行过亏损的事。

18. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
眼睛就是身上的灯。你的眼睛若了亮,全身就光明。

19. And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
希罗底的女儿进来跳舞,使希律和同席的人都欢喜。王就对女子说,你随意向我求什么,我必给你。

20. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
人为人子恨恶你们,拒绝你们,辱骂你们,弃掉你们的名,以为是恶,你们就有福了。

21. The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
第二日,站在海那边的众人,知道那里没有别的船,只有一只小船,又知道耶稣没有同他的门徒上船,乃是门徒自己去的。

22. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
但现今你们既从罪里得了释放,作了神的奴仆,就有成圣的果子,那结局就是永生。

23. Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
我特意打发他到你们那里去,好叫你们知道我们的光景,又叫他安慰你们的心。
