1. And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
当耶和华在埃及地对摩西说话的日子，

2. But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.
惟有煮祭物的瓦器要打碎，若是煮在铜器里，这铜器要擦磨，在水中涮净。

3. And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.
城里的人清早起来，见巴力的坛拆毁，坛旁的木偶砍下，第二只牛献在新筑的坛上，

4. And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
又用金子包裹二基路伯。

5. And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.
王问妇人说，你有什么苦处。她回答说，这妇人对我说，将你的儿子取来，我们今日可以吃，明日可以吃我的儿子。

6. And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.
撒母耳的长子是约珥，次子是亚比亚。

7. If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillers; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:
国中若有饥荒，瘟疫，旱风，霉烂，蝗虫，蚂蚱，或有仇敌犯境，围困城邑，无论遭遇什么灾祸疾病，

8. Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie.
现在请你们看看我，我决不当面说谎。

9. Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
人若在火炭上走，脚岂能不烫呢。

10. They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.
他们都是极悖逆的，往来谗谤人。他们是铜是铁，都行坏事。

11. So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
如此，这但以理当大流士王在位的时候，和波斯王居鲁士在位的时候，大享亨通。

12. And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
何必为衣裳忧虑呢。你想野地里的百合花，怎样长起来，他也不劳苦，也不纺线。

13. And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
把头放在盘子里，拿来给女子，女子就给他母亲。

14. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
咒诅你们的要为他祝福，凌辱你们的要为他祷告。

15. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
众人问他说，我们当行什么，才算作神的工呢。
