1. And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,
基甸对神说，你若果照着所说的话，藉我手拯救以色列人，

2. And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
他又用凿成的石头三层，香柏木一层建筑内院。

3. The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
亚玛赛是以利加拿的儿子。以利加拿是约珥的儿子。约珥是亚撒利雅的儿子。亚撒利雅是西番雅的儿子。

4. If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;
你的民若得罪你（世上没有不犯罪的人），你向他们发怒，将他们交给仇敌掳到或远或近之地。

5. Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
请叫众人散开，他们好往四面乡村里去，自己买什么吃的。

6. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
你们要慈悲，像你们的父慈悲一样。

7. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
只是我对你们说过，你们已经看见我，还是不信。
