1. And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
基甸又对神说，求你不要向我发怒，我再说这一次，让我将羊毛再试一次。但愿羊毛是乾的，别的地方都有露水。

2. And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,
希幔的族兄亚萨是比利家的儿子，亚萨在希幔右边供职。比利家是示米亚的儿子。

3. Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.
求你从天上你的居所垂听你民的祷告祈求，为他们伸冤，赦免他们的过犯。

4. And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
耶稣吩咐他们叫众人一帮一帮的，坐在青草地上。

5. And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
耶稣又用比喻对他们说，瞎子岂能领瞎子，两个人不是都要掉在坑里吗。

6. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
差我来者的意思，就是他所赐给我的，叫一个也不失落，在末日却叫他复活。
