1. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
耶和华见人在地上罪恶很大,终日所思想的尽都是恶。

2. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
我也听见以色列人被埃及人苦待的哀声,我也记念我的约。

3. Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
或是他因什么物起了假誓,就要如数归还,另外加上五分之一,在查出他有罪的日子要交还本主。

4. All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
在他一切许愿离俗的日子,不可用剃头刀剃头,要由发绺长长了。他要圣洁,直到离俗归耶和华的日子满了。

5. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
你要尽心,尽性,尽力爱耶和华你的神。

6. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
他们吹的角声拖长,你们听见角声,众百姓要大声呼喊,城墙就必塌陷,各人都要往前直上。

7. For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
因为那些人带着牲畜帐棚来,像蝗虫那样多,人和骆驼无数,都进入国内,毁坏全地。

8. Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.
所以当制造你们痔疮的像和毁坏你们田地老鼠的像,并要归荣耀给以色列的神,或者他向你们和你们的神,并你们的田地,把手放轻些。

9. And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
大卫和以色列的全家在耶和华面前,用松木制造的各样乐器和琴,瑟,鼓,钹,锣,作乐跳舞。

10. And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
靠着殿墙,围着外殿内殿,造了三层旁屋。

11. But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
有一人砍树的时候,斧头掉在水里,他就呼叫说,哀哉。我主阿,这斧子是借的。

12. And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
亚比书生布基。布基生乌西。

13. Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:
他说,自从我领我民出埃及地以来,我未曾在以色列众支派中选择一城建造殿宇为我名的居所,也未曾拣选一人作我民以色列的君。

14. And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.
并且神殿的金银器皿,就是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿中掠到巴比伦的,要归还带到耶路撒冷的殿中,各按原处放在神的殿里。

15. Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
叁巴拉第五次打发仆人来见我,手里拿着未封的信,

16. And the king's servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
臣仆说,哈曼站在院内。王说,叫他进来。

17. Doth the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth the ox over his fodder?
野驴有草岂能叫唤,牛有料,岂能吼叫。

18. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
因为在死地无人记念你,在阴间有谁称谢你。

19. Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
要救自己,如鹿脱离猎户的手,如鸟脱离捕鸟人的手。

20. Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other.
并且没有见过天日,也无知觉。这胎,比那人倒享安息。

21. Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
求你掉转眼目不看我,因你的眼目使我惊乱。你的头发如同山羊群卧在基列山旁。

22. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
那时我说,祸哉,我灭亡了。因为我是嘴唇不洁的人,又住在嘴唇不洁的民中。又因我眼见大军王万军之耶和华。

23. That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
弹琴鼓瑟唱消闲的歌曲,为自己制造乐器,如同大卫所造的。

24. Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces.
起来吧,我们夜间上去,毁坏她的宫殿。

25. And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
我也要将以色列人的尸首放在他们的偶像面前,将你们的骸骨抛散在你们祭坛的四围。

26. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
那些人便说,我们要找叁这但以理的把柄,除非在他神的律法中就寻不着。

27. Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
因此,我藉先知砍伐他们,以我口中的话杀戮他们,我施行的审判如光发出。

28. O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
我的百姓阿,你们当追念摩押王巴勒所设的谋,和比珥的儿子巴兰回答他的话,并你们从什亭到吉甲所遇见的事,好使你们知道耶和华公义的作为。

29. And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the LORD of all the earth.
天使回答我说,这是天的四风,是从普天下的主面前出来的。

30. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
你们祷告的时候,不可像那假冒为善的人,爱站在会堂里,和十字路口上祷告,故意叫人看见。我实在告诉你们,他们已经得了他们的赏赐。

31. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
耶稣就在那里不得行什么异能,不过按手在几个病人身上,治好他们。

32. And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
又对他们说,人子是安息日的主。

33. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
耶稣举目看见许多人来,就对腓力说,我们从那里买饼叫这些人吃呢。

34. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
大家都喜悦这话,就拣选了司提反,乃是大有信心,圣灵充满的人,又拣选腓利,伯罗哥罗,尼迦挪,提门,巴米拿,并进犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉。

35. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
我们若在他死的形状上与他联合,也要在他复活的形状上与他联合。

36. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
我说这话,是要叫你们羞耻。难道你们中间没有一个智慧人,能审断弟兄们的事吗。

37. In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
鞭打,监禁,扰乱,勤劳,儆醒,不食,

38. For every man shall bear his own burden.
因为各人必担当自己的担子。

39. Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
你们作仆人的,要惧怕战兢,用诚实的心听从你们肉身的主人,好像听从基督一般。

40. Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
并那坏了心术,失丧真理之人的争竞。他们以敬虔为得利的门路。

41. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
并尝过神善道的滋味,觉悟来世权能的人,

42. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
揭开第三印的时候,我听见第三个活物说,你来。我就观看,见有一匹黑马。骑在马上的手里拿着天平。
