1. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
当挪亚六百岁，二月十七日那一天，大渊的泉源都裂开了，天上的窗户也敞开了。

2. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
于是法老召了博士和术士来，他们是埃及行法术的，也用邪术照样而行。

3. And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
人献与耶和华平安祭的条例乃是这样，

4. And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
耶和华对摩西说，众首领为行奉献坛的礼，要每天一个首领来献供物。

5. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.
所以，你要谨守遵行我今日所吩改你的诫命，律例，典章。

6. Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
以色列人犯了罪，违背了我所吩咐他们的约，取了当灭的物。又偷窃，又行诡诈，又把那当灭的放在他们的家具里。

7. And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.
你必听见他们所说的，然后你就有胆量下去攻营。于是基甸带着仆人普拉下到营旁。

8. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Bethcar.
以色列人从米斯巴出来，追赶非利士人，击杀他们，直到伯甲的下边。

9. And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
并不像我命士师治理我民以色列的时候一样。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敌扰乱，并且我耶和华应许你，必为你建立家室。

10. And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
上面有香柏木和按着尺寸凿成宝贵的石头。

11. And he called the porters; and they told it to the king's house within.
守城门的叫了众守门的人来，他们就进去与王家报信。

12. All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.
这都是耶叠的儿子，都是族长，是大能的勇士。他们的子孙能上阵打仗的，共有一万七千二百人。

13. Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
所罗门造成了耶和华殿和王宫。在耶和华殿和王宫凡他心中所要作的，都顺顺利利地作成了。

14. Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.
祭司以斯拉是通达耶和华诫命，和赐以色列之律例的文士。亚达薛西王赐给他们谕旨，上面写着说，

15. The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
巴哈摩押的后裔，就是耶书亚和约押的子孙二千八百一十八名。

16. Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
我不禁止我口。我灵愁苦，要发出言语。我心苦恼，要吐露哀情。

17. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
神是公义的审判者，又是天天向恶人发怒的神。

18. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
这妇人喧囔不守约束，在家里停不住脚。

19. Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.
智慧和产业并好。而且见天日的人，得智慧更为有益。

20. Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
我的良人，来吧，你我可以往田间去。你我可以在村庄住宿。

21. Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
你向耶和华你的神求一个兆头。或求显在深处，或求显在高处。

22. Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
这称为我名下的殿在你们眼中岂可看为贼窝吗。我都看见了。这是耶和华说的。

23. Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
强暴兴起，成了罚恶的杖。以色列人，或是他们的群众，或是他们的财宝，无一存留，他们中间也没有得尊荣的。

24. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
那时我观看，见那兽因小角说夸大话的声音被杀，身体损坏，扔在火中焚烧。

25. Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
以法莲好像鸽子愚蠢无知。他们求告埃及，投奔亚述。

26. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
因为阿摩司如此说，耶罗波安必被刀杀，以色列民定被掳去离开本地。

27. In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.
以色列阿，日子必到，你的墙垣必重修。到那日，你的境界必开展（或作命令必传到远方）。

28. But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
他们却不肯听从，扭转肩头，塞耳不听。

29. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
你们虽然不好，尚且知道拿好东西给儿女，何况你们在天上的父，岂不更把好东西给求他的人吗。

30. But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
你们倒说，人若对父母说，我所当奉献给你的，已经作了各耳板，（各耳板，就是供献的意思）

31. And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
过不了多时，有古卷作次日耶稣往一座城去，这城名叫拿因，他的门徒和极多的人与他同行。

32. Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
正在节期，犹太人寻梢耶稣说，他在那里。

33. Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.
后来埃及和迦南全地遭遇饥荒，大受艰难，我们的祖宗，就绝了粮。

34. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
因为罪趁着机会，就藉着诫命引诱我，并且杀了我。

35. But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
若是离开了，不可再嫁。或是同丈夫和好。丈夫也不可离弃妻子。

36. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
你看，你们依着神的意思忧愁，从此就生出何等的殷勤，自诉，自恨，恐惧，想念，热心，责罚（或作自责），在这一切事上你们都表明自己是洁净的。

37. If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
从前百姓在利未人祭司职任以下受律法，倘若藉这职任能得完全，又何用另外兴起一位祭司，照麦基洗德的等次，不照亚伦的等次呢。

38. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
