1. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
四十昼夜降大雨在地上。

2. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
他们各人丢下自己的杖，杖就变作蛇，但亚伦的杖吞了他们的杖。

3. If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.
他若为感谢献上，就要用调油的无酵饼和抹油的无酵薄饼，并用油调匀细面作的饼，与感谢祭一同献上。

4. And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:
头一日献供物的是犹大支派的亚米拿达的儿子拿顺。

5. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
你们果然听从这些典章，谨守遵行，耶和华你神就必照他向你列祖所起的誓守约，施慈爱。

6. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
因此，以色列人在仇敌面前删立不住。他们在仇敌面前转背逃跑，是因成了被咒诅的。你们若不把当灭的物从你们中间除掉，我就不再与你们同在了。

7. And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
米甸人，亚玛力人，和一切东方人都布散在平原，如同蝗虫那样多。他们的骆驼无数，多如海边的沙。

8. Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.
撒母耳将一块石头立在米斯巴和善的中间，给石头起名叫以便以谢，说，到如今耶和华都帮助我们。

9. And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
你寿数满足，与你列祖同睡的时候，我必使你的后裔接续你的位。我也必坚定他的国。

10. And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
大院周围有凿成的石头三层，香柏木一层，都照耶和华殿的内院和殿廊的样式。

11. And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
王夜间起来，对臣仆说，我告诉你们亚兰人向我们如何行。他们知道我们饥饿，所以离营，埋伏在田野，说，以色列人出城的时候，我们就活捉他们，得以进城。

12. Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.
还有以珥的儿子书品，户品，并亚黑的儿子户伸。

13. And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
夜间耶和华向所罗门显现，对他说，我已听了你的祷告，也选择这地方作为祭祀我的殿宇。

14. Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.
诸王之王亚达薛西，达于祭司以斯拉通达天上神律法大德的文士，云云。

15. The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
以拦的子孙一千二百五十四名。

16. Am I a sea, or a whale, that thou settest a watch over me?
我对神说，我岂是洋海，岂是大鱼，你竟防守我呢。

17. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
若有人不回头，他的刀必磨快。弓必上弦，豫备妥当了。

18. Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
有时在街市上，有时在宽阔处，或在各巷口蹲伏。

19. For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
因为智慧护庇人，好像银钱护庇人一样。惟独智慧能保全智慧人的生命，这就是知识的益处。

20. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
我们早晨起来往葡萄园去，看看葡萄发芽开花没有，石榴放蕊没有。我在那里要将我的爱情给你。

21. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
亚哈斯说，我不求，我不试探耶和华。

22. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
你们且往示罗去，就是我先前立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓以色列的罪恶向那地所行的如何。

23. The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
时候到了，日子近了，买主不可欢喜，卖主不可愁烦，因为烈怒已经临到他们众人身上。

24. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
其馀的兽，权柄都被夺去，生命却仍存留，直到所定的时候和日期。

25. When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
他们去的时候，我必将我的网撒在他们身上，我要打下他们，如同空中的鸟。我必按他们会众所听见的惩罚他们。

26. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
亚玛谢又对阿摩司说，你这先见哪，要逃往犹大地去，在那里糊口，在那里说预言。

27. In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
当那日，人必从亚述，从埃及的城邑，从埃及到大河，从这海到那海，从这山到那山，都归到你这里。

28. Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.
使心硬如金钢石，不听律法，和万君之耶和华用灵藉从前的先知所说的话。故此，万君之耶和华大发烈怒。

29. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
所以无论何事，你们愿意人怎样待你们，你们也要怎样待人。因为这就是律法和先知的道理。

30. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
以后你们就不容他再奉养父母。

31. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
将近城门，有一个死人被抬出来。这人是他母亲独生的儿子，他母亲又是寡妇。有城里的许多人同着寡妇送殡。

32. And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
众人为他纷纷议论。有的说，他是好人。有的说，不然，他是迷惑众人的。

33. But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.
雅各听见在埃及有粮，就打发我们的祖宗，初次往那里去。

34. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
这样看来，律法是圣洁的，诫命也是圣洁，公义，良善的。

35. But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
我对其馀的人说，不是主说，倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，妻子也情愿和他住，他就不要离弃妻子。

36. Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
我虽然从前写信给你们却不是为那亏负人的，也不是为那受人亏负的，乃要在神面前，把你们顾念我们的热心，表明出来。

37. For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
祭司的职任既已更改，律法也必须更改。

38. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
说，阿们。颂赞，荣耀，智慧，感谢，尊贵，权柄，大力，都归与我们的神，直到永永远远。阿们。
