1. Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
我分派祭司长十二人，就是示利比，哈沙比雅，和他们的弟兄十人，

2. And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
耶和华就这样行。苍蝇成了大群，进入法老的宫殿，和他臣仆的房屋，埃及遍地就因这成群的苍蝇败坏了。

3. And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
又带了亚伦的儿子来，把些血抹在他们的右耳垂上和右手的大拇指上，并右脚的大拇指上，又把血洒在坛的周围。

4. This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
利未人是这样，从二十五岁以外，他们要前来任职，办会幕的事。

5. And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword.
以色列人在田间和旷野杀尽所追赶一切艾城的居民。艾城人倒在刀下，直到灭尽。以色列众人就回到艾城，用刀杀了城中的人。

6. And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)
基甸又对他们说，我有一件事求你们，请你们各人将所夺的耳环给我。原来仇敌是以实玛利人，都是戴金耳环的。）

7. Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
向你仆人我父大卫所应许的话现在应验了。你亲口应许，亲手成就，正如今日一样。

8. And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.
约兰与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子亚哈谢接续他作王。

9. And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
哈拿尼雅，以拦，安陀提雅，

10. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
没有深渊，没有大水的泉源，我已生出。

11. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
他的权柄必大，却不是因自己的能力。他必行非常的毁灭，事情顺利，任意而行。又必毁灭有能力的和圣民。

12. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
海里忽然起了暴风，甚至船被波浪掩盖。耶稣却睡着了。

13. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
他就抬头一看说，我看见人了。他们好像树木，并且行走。

14. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
门徒来叫醒了他，说，夫子，我们丧命喇。耶稣醒了，斥责那狂风大浪。风浪就止住，平静了。

15. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
所以我对你们说，你们要死在罪中，你们若不信我是基督，必要死在罪中。

16. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
西门说，愿你们为我求主，叫你们所说的，没有一样临到我身上。

17. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
我们得救是在乎盼望。只是所见的盼望不是盼望。谁还盼望他所见的呢。（有古卷作人所看见的何必再盼望呢）

18. Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.
所以你们务要在众教会面前，显明你们爱心的凭据，并我所夸奖你们的凭据。
