1. Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
第四日，在我们神的殿里把金银和器皿都秤了，交在祭司乌利亚的儿子米利末的手中。同着他有非尼哈的儿子以利亚撒，还有利未人耶书亚的儿子约撒拔和宾内的儿子挪亚底。

2. And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.
你们七天不可出会幕的门，等到你们承接圣职的日子满了，因为主叫你们七天承接圣职。

3. And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
以色列众人，无论是本地人，是寄居的，和长老，官长，并审判官，都站在约柜两旁，在抬耶和华约柜的祭司利未人面前，一半对着基利心山，一半对着以巴路山，为以色列民祝福，正如耶和华仆人摩西先前所吩咐的。

4. And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god.
基甸死后，以色列人又去随从诸巴力行邪淫，以巴力比利土为他们的神。

5. When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:
你的民以色列若得罪你，败在仇敌面前，又归向你，承认你的名，在这殿里祈求祷告，

6. And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
尼珥生基士。基士生扫罗。扫罗生约拿单，麦基舒亚，亚比拿达，伊施巴力。

7. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
要听教训，就得智慧，不可弃绝。

8. And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
放猪的就逃跑进城，将这一切事，和被鬼附的人所遭遇的，都告诉人。

9. But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
耶稣转过来，看着门徒，就责备彼得说，撒但，退我后边去吧。因为你不体贴神的意思，只体贴人的意思。

10. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
鬼就从那人出来，进入猪里去。于是那群猪闯下山崖，投在湖里淹死了。

11. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
他们回答说，我们是亚伯拉罕的后裔，从来没有作过谁的奴仆。你怎吗说，你们必得以自由呢。

12. In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
他卑微的时候，人不按公义审判他。（原文作他的审判被夺去）谁能述说他的世代，因为他的生命从地上夺去。

13. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
谁能控告神所拣选的人呢。有神称他们为义了。（或作是称他们为义的神吗）
