1. But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
但遍地上都是水，鸽子找不着落脚之地，就回到方舟挪亚那里，挪亚伸手把鸽子接进方舟来。

2. Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.
属约押的子孙有耶歇的儿子俄巴底亚，同着他有男丁二百一十八。

3. And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
摩西对法老说，任凭你吧，我要何时为你和你的臣仆并你的百姓祈求，除灭青蛙离开你和你的宫殿只留在河里呢。

4. And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
把冠冕戴在他头上，在冠冕的前面钉上金牌，就是圣冠，都是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。

5. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
将利未人奉到会幕前，招聚以色列全会众。

6. A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
你在那地不缺食物，一无所缺。那地的石头是铁，山内可以挖铜。

7. Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.
约书亚打发他们前往，他们就上埋伏的地方去，住在伯特利和艾城的中间，就是在艾城的西边。这夜约书亚却在民中住宿。

8. And he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
他向毗努伊勒人说，我平平安安回来的时候，我必拆毁这楼。

9. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.
故此你要依从他们的话，只是当警戒他们，告诉他们将来那王怎样管辖他们。

10. When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer,
哈马王陀以听见大卫杀败哈大底谢的全军，

11. There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
约柜里惟有两块石版，就是以色列人出埃及地后，耶和华与他们立约的时候摩西在何烈山所放的。除此以外，并无别物。

12. So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
于是哈薛用四十个骆驼，驮着大马士革的各样美物为礼物，去见以利沙。到了他那里，站在他面前，说，你儿子亚兰王便哈达打发我来见你，他问说，我这病能好不能好。

13. And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
他与妻贺得同房，生了约巴，洗比雅，米沙，玛拉干，

14. But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
惟有以色列人，所罗门不使他们当奴仆作工，乃是作他的战士，军长的统领，车兵长，马兵长。

15. And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
省长尼希米和作祭司的文士以斯拉，并教训百姓的利未人，对众民说，今日是耶和华你们神的圣日，不要悲哀哭泣。这是因为众民听见律法书上的话都哭了。

16. Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.
三月，就是西弯月二十三日，将王的书记召来。按着末底改所吩咐的，用各省的文字，各族的方言，并犹大人的文字方言写谕旨。传给那从印度直到古实一百二十七省的犹大人和总督省长首领。

17. (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
我们不过从昨日才有，一无所知。我们在世的日子好像影儿。

18. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
耶和华我们的主阿，你的名在全地何其美。

19. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
有聪明的以为明显，得知识的以为正直。

20. All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.
这一切我都见过。也专心查考日光之下所作的一切事。有时这人管辖那人，令人受害。

21. If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.
她若是墙，我们要在其上建造银塔。她若是门，我们要用香柏木板围护她。

22. Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
列国的人民哪，任凭你们喧囔，终必破坏。远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听。任凭你们束起腰来，终必破坏。你们束起腰来，终必破坏。

23. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
智慧人惭愧，惊惶，被擒拿。他们弃掉耶和华的话，心里还有什么智慧呢。

24. And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
他说，你进去，看他们在这里所行可憎的恶事。

25. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
四角之中有一角长出一个小角，向南，向东，向荣美之地，渐渐成为强大。

26. For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
他们投奔亚述，如同独行的野驴。以法莲贿买朋党。

27. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
主耶和华说，到那日，我必使日头在午间落下，使地在白昼黑暗。

28. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
万军之耶和华如此说，当建造万军之耶和华的殿，立根基之日的先知所说的话，现在你们听见，应当手里强壮。

29. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下。对这个说，去，他就去。对那个说，来，他就来。对我的仆人说，你作这事，他就去作。

30. And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.
人数约有四千。耶稣打发他们走了，

31. And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
门徒问耶稣说，这比喻是什么意思呢。

32. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
他们听见这话，就从老到少一个一个的都出去了。只剩下耶稣一人。还有那妇人仍然站在当中。

33. But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
有一个人，名叫西门，向来在那城里行邪术，妄自尊大，使撒玛利亚的百姓惊奇。

34. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
如果神的灵住在你们心里，你们就不属肉体，乃属圣灵了。人若没有基督的灵，就不是属基督的。

35. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
只是你们要谨慎，恐怕你们这自由，竟成了那软弱人的绊脚石。

36. For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典。他本来富足，却为你们成了贫穷，叫你们因他的贫穷，可以成为富足。

37. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
不像我拉着他们祖宗的手，领他们出埃及的时候，与他们所立的约。因为他们不恒心守我的约，我也不理他们。这是主说的。

38. And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
海中的活物死了三分之一。船只也坏了三分之一。
