1. And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
出方舟挪亚的儿子就是闪，含，雅弗。含是迦南的父亲。

2. Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.
到明天约在这时候，我必叫重大的冰雹降下，自从埃及开国以来，没有这样的冰雹。

3. He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
亚伦宰了那给百姓作平安祭的公牛和公绵羊。他儿子把血递给他，他就洒在坛的周围。

4. At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
以色列人遵耶和华的吩咐起行，也遵耶和华的吩咐安营。云彩在帐幕上停住几时，他们就住营几时。

5. And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
因你们所犯的一切罪，行了耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我就像从前俯伏在耶和华面前四十昼夜，没有吃饭，也没有喝水。

6. And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.
因为会众的首领已经指着耶和华以色列的神向他们起誓，所以以色列人不击杀他们。全会众就向首领发怨言。

7. And ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;)
你们如今起来攻击我的父家，将他众子七十人杀在一块磐石上，又立他婢女所生的儿子亚比米勒为示剑人的王。他原是你们的弟兄。

8. Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, where the seer's house is.
扫罗在城门里走到撒母耳跟前，说，请告诉我，先见的寓所在哪里。

9. And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,
巴拉，并国中旷野里的达莫，

10. So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
骑马的就去迎接耶户，说，王问说，平安不平安。耶户说，平安不平安与你何干。你转在我后头吧。守望的人又说，使者到了他们那里，却不回来。

11. Who hitherto waited in the king's gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
从前赦些人看守朝东的王门，如今是利未营中守门的。

12. And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:
宝座有六层台阶，又有金脚凳，与宝座相连。宝座两旁有扶手，靠近扶手有两个狮子站立。

13. Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;
他们虽然铸了一只牛犊，彼此说，这是领你出埃及的神。因而大大惹动你的怒气。

14. But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.
但书珊的犹大人，这十三日，十四日聚集杀戮仇敌。十五日安息，以这日为设筵欢乐的日子。

15. He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
我就是喘一口气，他都不容，倒使我满心苦恼。

16. For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
穷乏人必不永久被忘，困苦人的指望，必不永远落空。

17. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
人却不知有阴魂在他那里。他的客在阴间的深处。

18. Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
智慧胜过打仗的兵器。但一个罪人，能败坏许多善事。

19. For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
邪恶像火焚烧，烧灭荆棘和蒺藜。在稠密的树林中着起来，就成为烟柱，旋转上腾。

20. And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
叫她们速速为我们举哀，使我们眼泪汪汪，使我们的眼皮涌出水来。

21. O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
我的神阿，求你侧耳而听，睁眼而看，眷顾我们荒凉之地和称为你名下的城。我们在你面前恳求，原不是因自己的义，乃因你的大怜悯。

22. While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
耶稣说这话的时候，有一个管会堂的来拜他说，我女儿刚才死了，求你去按手在他身上，他就必活了。

23. And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
无论在那里，鬼捉弄他，把他摔倒，他就口中流沫，咬牙切齿，身体枯乾，我请过你的门徒把鬼赶出去，他们却是不能。

24. And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
耶稣自己祷告的时候，门徒也同他在那里。耶稣问他们说，众人说我是谁。

25. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
犹太人不信他从前是瞎眼，后来能看见的，等到叫了他的父母来，

26. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
扫罗的眼睛上，好像有鳞立刻掉下来，他就能看见，于是起来受了洗。

27. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
如此看来，神要怜悯谁，就怜悯谁，要叫谁刚硬，就叫谁刚硬。

28. What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
既是这样，我的赏赐是什么呢。就是我传福音的时候，叫人不花钱得福音，免得用尽我传福音的权柄。

29. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
所以前约也不是不用血立的。

30. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
口中所出来的火，与烟，并硫磺，这三样灾杀了人的三分之一。
