1. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
就说,迦南当受咒诅,必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆。

2. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
在埃及遍地,雹击打了田间所有的人和牲畜,并一切的菜蔬,又打坏田间一切的树木。

3. Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.
我因耶和华说要灭绝你们,就在耶和华面前烧旧俯伏四十昼夜。

4. And now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.
现在我们在你手中,你以怎样待我们为善为正,就怎样做吧。

5. And the men of Shechem set liers in wait for him in the top of the mountains, and they robbed all that came along that way by them: and it was told Abimelech.
示剑人在山顶上设埋伏,等候亚比米勒。凡从他们那里经过的人,他们就抢夺。有人将这事告诉亚比米勒。

6. And when they were come down from the high place into the city, Samuel communed with Saul upon the top of the house.
众人从邱坛下来进城,撒母耳和扫罗在房顶上说话。

7. And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.
所罗门每年三次在他为耶和华所筑的坛上献燔祭和平安祭,又在耶和华面前的坛上烧香。这样,他建造殿的工程完毕了。

8. Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;
耶户对他的军长毕甲说,你把他抛在耶斯列人拿伯的田间。你当追想,你我一同坐车跟随他父亚哈的时候,耶和华对亚哈所说的预言,

9. And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
他们的族弟兄住在村庄,每七日来与他们换班。

10. And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
所罗门有套车的马四千棚,有马兵一万二千,安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷,就是王那里。

11. And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness.
他们得了坚固的城邑,肥美的地土,充满各样美物的房屋,凿成的水井,葡萄园,橄榄园,并许多果木树。他们就吃而得饱,身体肥胖,因你的大恩,心中快乐。

12. But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.
这事报告于王,王便降旨使哈曼谋害犹大人的恶事,归到他自己的头上,并吩咐把他和他的众子都挂在木架上。

13. Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
我的日子比跑信的更快,急速过去,不见福乐。

14. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
耶和华说,看哪,日子将到,我要刑罚一切受过割礼,心却未受割礼的,

15. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
你当知道,当明白,从出令重新建造耶路撒冷,直到有受膏君的时候,必有七个七和六十二个七。正在艰难的时候,耶路撒冷城连街带濠都必重新建造。

16. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
众人既被撵出,耶稣就进去,拉着闺女的手,闺女便起来了。

17. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
耶稣看见众人都跑上来,就斥责那污鬼,说,你们聋哑的鬼,我吩咐你从他里头出来,再不要进去。

18. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
人若赚得全世界,却丧了自己,赔上自己,有什么益处呢。

19. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
他说,他是个罪人不是,我不知道。有一件事我知道,从前我是眼瞎的,如今能看见了。

20. Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
他的门徒就在夜间,用筐子把他从城墙上缒下去。

21. As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
就像神在何西阿书上说,那本来不是我子民的,我要称为我的子民。本来不是蒙爱的,我要称为蒙爱的。

22. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
凡较力争胜的,诸事都有节制。他们不过是要得能坏的冠冕。我们却是要得不能坏的冠冕。

23. Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
也不是多次将自己献上,像那大祭司每年带着牛羊血进入圣所。(牛羊的血原文作不是自己的血)
