1. And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.
那时，麻和大麦被雹击打，因为大麦已经吐穗，麻也开了花。

2. And he sent messengers unto Abimelech privily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren be come to Shechem; and, behold, they fortify the city against thee.
悄悄地打发人去见亚比米勒，说，以别的儿子迦勒和他的弟兄到了示剑，煽惑城中的民攻击你。

3. And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?
耶户进门的时候，耶洗别说，杀主人的心利阿，平安吗。

4. And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
利未人玛他提雅是可拉族沙龙的长子，他紧要的职任是管理盘中烤的物。

5. And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
所罗门与他列祖同睡，葬在他父大卫城里。他儿子罗波安接续他作王。

6. Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
然而你大发怜悯，不全然灭绝他们，也不丢弃他们。因为你是有恩典，有怜悯的神。

7. To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.
劝他们按时守这普珥日，禁食呼求，是照犹大人末底改，和王后以斯帖，所嘱咐的。也照犹大人为自己与后裔所应承的。

8. Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.
你还要扔我在坑里，我的衣服都憎恶我。

9. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
他们出去，竟把他的名声传遍了那地方。

10. For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
于是教训门徒，说，人子将要被交在人手里，他们要杀害他。被杀以后，过三天他要复活。

11. Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
他们在荣光里显现，谈论耶稣去世的事，就是他在耶路撒冷将要成的事。

12. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
我们知道神不听罪人。惟有敬奉神旨意的，神才听他。

13. Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
那时犹太，加利利，撒玛利亚，各处的教会都得平安，被建立。凡事敬畏主，蒙圣灵的安慰，人数就增多了。

14. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
但以色列人追求律法的义，反得不着律法的义。
