圣经

1. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
他国的起头是巴别，以力，亚甲，甲尼，都在示拿地。

2. And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.
法老对他们说，我容你们和你们妇人孩子去的时候，耶和华与你们同在吧，你们要谨慎，因为有祸在你们眼前（或作你们存着恶意），

3. And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
使你们可以将圣的，俗的，洁净的，不洁净的，分别出来。

4. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
在你们快乐的日子和节期，并月朔，献燔祭和平安祭，也要吹号，这都要在你们的神面前作为纪念。我是耶和华你们的神。

5. And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee.
我又像从前在山上住了四十昼夜。那次耶和华也应允我，不忍将你灭绝。

6. And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.
耶和华使他们在以色列人面前溃乱。约书亚在基遍大大地杀败他们，追赶他们，在伯和仑的上坡路击杀他们，直到亚西加和玛基大。

7. And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.
以色列人哀求耶和华说，我们得罪了你。因为离弃了我们神，去事奉诸巴力。

8. And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
扫罗到了那山，有一班先知遇见他，神的灵大大感动他，他就在先知中受感说话。

9. And the rest of the people he delivered into the hand of Abishai his brother, that he might put them in array against the children of Ammon.
其馀的兵交与他兄弟亚比筛，对着亚扪人摆阵。

10. And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
于是，示巴女王将一百二十他连得金子和宝石，与极多的香料，送给所罗门王。她送给王的香料，以后奉来的不再有这样多。

11. Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
由此可知，耶和华指着亚哈家所说的话一句没有落空，因为耶和华藉他仆人以利亚所说的话都成就了。

12. And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
又将扫罗的军装放在他们神的庙里，将他的首级钉在大衮庙中。

13. And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.
那同他长大的少年人说，这民对王说，你父亲使我们负重轭，求你使我们轻松些。王要对他们如此说，我的小拇指比我父亲的腰还粗。

14. And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.
祭司以斯拉站起来，对他们说，你们有罪了。因你们娶了外邦的女子为妻，增添以色列人的罪恶。。

15. And their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,
还有他们的弟兄示巴尼，荷第雅，基利他，毗莱雅，哈难，

16. Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
你不是倒出我来好像奶，使我凝结如同奶饼吗。

17. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
他屈身蹲伏，无倚无靠的人，就倒在他爪牙之下，

18. He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
以眼传神的，使人忧患。口里愚妄的，必致倾倒。

19. If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
铁器钝了，若不将刃磨快，就必多费气力。但得智慧指教，便有益处。

20. As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
我手已经构到有偶像的国。这些国雕刻的偶像过于耶路撒冷和撒玛利亚的偶像。

21. For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
因为有人说，他的信，又沉重，又利害。及至见面，却是气貌不扬，言语粗俗的。

22. But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
惟耶和华是真神，是活神，是永远的王。他一发怒，大地震动。他一恼恨，列国都担当不起。

23. And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
至于四轮的形状，都是一个样式，彷佛轮中套轮。

24. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
忽然，有一手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌支持微起。

25. It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
我必随意惩罚他们。他们为两样的罪所缠，列邦的民必聚集攻击他们。

26. I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
我必再领他们出埃及地，招聚他们出亚述，领他们到基列和黎巴嫩，这地尚且不够他们居住。

27. Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
行路不要带口袋，不要带两件褂子，也不要带鞋和拐杖。因为工人得饮食，是应当的。

28. And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
到了屋里，门徒就问他这事。

29. But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
无论进那一城，人若不接待你们，你们就到街上去，

30. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
盗贼来，无非要偷窃，杀害，毁坏。我来了，是要叫羊（或作人）得生命，并且得的更丰盛。

31. And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
觉得饿了，想要吃。那家的人正豫备饭的时候，彼得魂游象外。

32. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
因为人心里相信，就可以称义。口里承认，就可以得救。

33. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
你们也不要发怨言，像他们有发怨言的，就被灭命的所灭。

34. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
我们凭这旨意，靠耶稣基督只一次献上他的身体，就得以成圣。

35. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
我从天使手中把小书卷接过来，吃尽了。在我口中果然甜如蜜。吃了以后，肚子觉得发苦了。
