1. And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,
迦南生长子西顿，又生赫

2. For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
因为这蝗虫遮满地面，甚至地都黑暗了，又吃地上一切的菜蔬和冰雹所剩树上的果子。埃及遍地，无论是树木，是田间的菜蔬，连一点青的也没有留下。

3. The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
所举的腿，所摇的胸，他们要与火祭的脂油一同带来当摇祭，在耶和华面前摇一摇，这要归你和你儿子，当作永得的分，都是照耶和华所吩咐的。

4. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
统领以萨迦支派军队的是苏押的儿子拿坦业。

5. Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
耶和华但喜悦你的列祖，爱他们，从万民中拣选他们的后裔，就是你们，像今日一样。

6. And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.
约书亚和以色列众人回到吉甲的营中。

7. And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
以色列人对耶和华说，我们犯罪了，任凭你随意待我们吧。只求你今日拯救我们。

8. And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
扫罗的叔叔说，请将撒母耳向你们所说的话告诉我。

9. And when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered themselves together.
亚兰人见自己被以色列人打败，就又聚集。

10. Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.
另外还有商人和杂族的诸王，与国中的省长，所进的金子。（杂族在历代下九章十四节作阿拉伯）

11. And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
耶户从那里前行，恰遇利甲的儿子约拿达来迎接他，耶户问他安，对他说，你诚心待我像我诚心待你吗。约拿达回答说，是。耶户说，若是这样，你向我伸手，他就伸手。耶户拉他上车。

12. So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
王不肯依从百姓。这事乃出于神，为要应验耶和华藉示罗人亚希雅对尼八儿子耶罗波安所说的话。

13. Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them.
惟有亚撒黑的儿子约拿单，特瓦的儿子雅哈谢阻挡（或译总办）这事，并有米书兰和利未人沙比太帮助他们。

14. Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,
布尼，押甲，比拜，

15. If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
我若行恶，便有了祸。我若为义，也不敢抬头。正是满心羞愧，眼见我的苦情。

16. Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
愿你打断恶人的膀臂。至于坏人，愿你追究他的恶，直到净尽。

17. The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
富户的财物，是他的坚城。穷人的贫乏，是他的败坏。

18. The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
凡愚昧人，他的劳碌使自己困乏。因为连进城的路他也不知道。

19. Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
斧，岂可向用釜砍木的自夸呢。锯，岂可向用锯的自大呢。好比棍抡起那举棍的，好比杖举起那非木的人。

20. Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
我们不仗着别人所劳碌的，分外夸口。但指望你们信心增长的时候，所量给我们的界限，就可以因着你们更加开展，

21. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
都是虚无的，是迷惑人的工作。到追讨的时候必被除灭。

22. And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
基路伯升上去了。这是我在迦巴鲁河边所见的活物。

23. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
他向我这样说，我就脸面朝地，哑口无声。

24. So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
因他们的大恶，伯特利必使你们遭遇如此。到了黎明，以色列的王必全然灭绝。

25. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
我实在告诉你们，当审判的日子，所多玛和蛾摩拉所受的，比那城还容易受呢。

26. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
我实在告诉你们，凡要承受神国的，若不像小孩子，断不能进去。

27. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
迦百农阿，你已经升到天上。或作你将要升到天上吗将来必推下阴间。

28. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
正如父认识我，我也认识父一样。并且我为羊舍命。

29. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
第二次有声音向他说，神所洁净的，你不可当作俗物。

30. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
若没有奉差遣，怎能传道呢。如经上所记，报福音传喜信的人，他们的脚踪何等佳美，

31. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
我好像对明白人说的，你们要审察我的话。

32. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
