1. And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
和耶布斯人，亚摩利人，革迦撒人，

2. Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
于是法老急忙召了摩西，亚伦来，说，我得罪耶和华你们的神，又得罪了你们。

3. And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,
当下摩西急切地寻梢作赎罪祭的公山羊，谁知已经焚烧了，便向亚伦剩下的儿子以利亚撒，以他玛发怒，说，

4. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
统领西布伦支派军队的是希伦的儿子以利押。

5. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
所以你们要将心里的污秽除掉，不可再硬着颈项。

6. But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah.
那五王逃跑，藏在玛基大洞里。

7. And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
以色列人就除掉他们中间的外邦神，事奉耶和华。耶和华因以色列人受的苦难，就心中担忧。

8. And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
扫罗对他叔叔说，他明明地告诉我们驴已经找着了。至于撒母耳所说的国事，扫罗却没有告诉叔叔。

9. And Hadarezer sent, and brought out the Syrians that were beyond the river: and they came to Helam; and Shobach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.
哈大底谢差遣人，将大河那边的亚兰人调来。他们到了希兰，哈大底谢的将军朔法率领他们。

10. And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.
所罗门王用锤出来的金子打成挡牌二百面，每面用金子六百舍客勒。

11. And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
耶户说，你和我同去，看我为耶和华怎样热心。于是请他坐在车上，

12. And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.
以色列众民见王不依从他们，就对王说，我们与大卫有什么分儿呢。与耶西的儿子并没有关涉。以色列人哪，各回各家去吧。大卫家阿，自己顾自己吧。于是，以色列众人都回自己家里去了。

13. And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
被掳归回的人如此而行。祭司以斯拉和些族长按着宗族都指名见派，在十月初一日，一同在座查办这事，

14. Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,
亚多尼雅，比革瓦伊，亚丁，

15. For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.
我若昂首自得，你就追捕我如狮子，又在我身上显出奇能。

16. The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
耶和华永永远远为王。外邦人从他的地已经灭绝了。

17. The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
义人的勤劳致生。恶人的进项致死。（死原文作罪）

18. Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning!
邦国阿，你的王若是孩童，你的群臣早晨宴乐，你就有祸了。

19. Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
因此，主万军之耶和华，必使亚述王的肥壮人变为瘦弱。在他的荣华之下，必有火着起，如同焚烧一样。

20. To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.
得以将福音传到你们以外的地方，并不是在别人界限之内，藉着他现成的事夸口。

21. The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.
雅各的分不像这些，因他是造作万有的主。以色列也是他产业的支派，万军之耶和华是他的名。

22. And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
基路伯行走，轮也在旁边行走。基路伯展开翅膀，离地上升，轮也不转离他们旁边。

23. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
不料，有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我便开口向那站在我面前的说，我主阿，因见这异象，我大大愁苦，毫无气力。

24. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
我差你们去，如同羊进入狼群。所以你们要灵巧像蛇，驯良像鸽子。

25. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
于是抱着小孩子，给他们按手，为他们祝福。

26. He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
又对门徒说，听从你们的，就是听从我，弃绝你们的，就是弃绝我，弃绝我的，就是弃绝那差我来的。

27. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
我另外有羊，不是这个圈里的。我必须领他们来，他们也要听我的声音。并且要合成一群，归一个牧人了。

28. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
这样一连三次，那物随既收回天上去了。

29. But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
只是人没有都听从福音。因为以赛亚说，主阿，我们所传的有谁信呢。

30. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
我们所祝福的杯，岂不是同领基督的血吗。我们所擘开的饼，岂不是同领基督的身体吗。

31. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
主说，那些日子以后，我与他们所立的约乃是这样。我要将我的律法写在他们心上，又要放在他们的里面。
