1. Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
雅弗的哥哥闪，是希伯子孙之祖，他也生了儿子。

2. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
耶和华对摩西说，你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗，这黑暗似乎摸得着。

3. And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
哥辖人抬着圣物先往前行。他们未到以前，抬帐幕的已经把帐幕支好。

4. He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
他是你所赞美的，是你的神，为你作了那大而可畏的事，是你亲眼所看见的。

5. And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.
众百姓就安然回玛基大营中，到约书亚那里。没有一人敢向以色列人饶舌。

6. When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
又使便雅悯支派按着宗族近前来，就掣出玛特利族，从其中又掣出基士的儿子扫罗。众人寻梢他却寻不着，

7. And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
所罗门王一切的饮器都是金子的。黎巴嫩林宫里的一切器皿都是精金的。所罗门年间，银子算不了什么。

8. And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.
耶户差人走遍以色列地。凡拜巴力的人都来齐了，没有一个不来的。他们进了巴力庙，巴力庙中从前边直到后边都满了人。

9. And of the sons of Harim; Maaseiah, and Elijah, and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah.
哈琳的子孙中，有玛西雅，以利雅，示玛雅，耶歇，乌西雅。

10. Meshezabeel, Zadok, Jaddua,
米示萨别，撒督，押杜亚，

11. Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
就是往黑暗，和死荫之地以先，可以稍得畅快。

12. The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
义人的口教养多人。愚昧人因无知而死亡。

13. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
到那日，以色列所剩下的，和雅各家所逃脱的，不再倚靠那击打他们的，却要诚实倚靠耶和华以色列的圣者。所剩下的，就是雅各家所剩下的，必归向全能的神。

14. For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
因为牧人都成为畜类，没有求问耶和华，所以不得顺利。他们的羊群也都分散。

15. Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
各有四个脸面，四个翅膀，翅膀以下有人手的样式。

16. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
但我要将那录在真确书上的事告诉你。除了你们的大君米迦勒之外，没有帮助我抵挡这两魔君的。

17. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
弟兄要把弟兄，父亲要把儿子，送到死地。儿女要与父母为敌，害死他们。

18. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
耶稣看着他，就爱他，对他说，你还缺少一件。去变卖你所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上。你还要来跟从我。

19. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
正当那时，耶稣被圣灵感动就欢乐，说，父阿，天地的主，我感谢你，因为你将这些事，向聪明通达人就藏起来，向婴孩就显出来。父阿，是的，因为你的美意本是如此。

20. Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
又有人说，这不是鬼附之人所说的话。鬼岂能叫瞎子的眼睛开了呢。

21. Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
于是彼得下去见那些人，说，我就是你们所找的人。你们来是为什么缘故。

22. But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
至于以色列人，他说，我整天伸手招呼那悖逆顶嘴的百姓。

23. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
你们不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯。不能吃主的筵席，又吃鬼的筵席。

24. And having an high priest over the house of God;
又有一位大祭司治理神的家。
