1. The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
闪的儿子是以拦，亚述，亚法撒，路德，亚兰。

2. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就乌黑了三天。

3. And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
按着军队往前行的是以法莲营的纛，统领军队的是亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛。

4. Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
你的列祖七十人下埃及。现在耶和华你的神使你如同天上的星那样多。

5. Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave.
约书亚说，打开洞口，将那五王从洞里带出来，领到我面前。

6. Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.
就问耶和华说，那人到这里来了没有。耶和华说，他藏在器具中了。

7. For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
因为王有他施船只与希兰的船只一同航海，三年一次，装载金银，象牙，猿猴，孔雀回来。

8. And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.
耶户吩咐掌管礼服的人说，拿出礼服来，给一切拜巴力的人穿。他就拿出礼服来给了他们。

9. And of the sons of Pashur; Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Jozabad, and Elasah.
巴施户珥的子孙中，有以利约乃，玛西雅，以实玛利，拿坦业，约撒拔，以利亚撒。

10. Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,
毗拉提，哈难，亚奈雅，

11. A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
那地甚是幽暗，是死荫混沌之地。那里的光好像幽暗。

12. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
耶和华所赐的福，使人富足。并不加上忧虑。

13. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
以色列阿，你的百姓，虽多如海沙，惟有剩下的归回。原来灭绝的事已定，必有公义施行，如水涨溢。

14. Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
有风声。看哪，敌人来了。有大扰乱从北方出来，要使犹大城邑变为荒凉，成为野狗的住处。

15. And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
至于他们脸的模样，并身体的形像，是我从前在迦巴鲁河边所看见的。他们俱各直往前行。

16. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
并且你们要为我的名，被众人恨恶，惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。

17. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
他听见这话，脸上就变了色，忧忧愁愁的走了。因为他的产业很多。

18. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
一切所有的，都是我父交付我的。除了父，没有人知道子是谁。除了子和子愿意指示的，没有人知道父是谁。

19. And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
在耶路撒冷有修殿节。是冬天的时候。

20. And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
他们说，百夫长哥尼流是个义人，敬畏神，为犹太通国所称赞，他蒙一位圣天使指示，叫他请你到他家里去，听你的话。

21. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
我们可惹主的愤恨吗。我们比他还有能力吗。

22. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
并我们心中天良的亏欠已经洒去，身体用清水洗净了，就当存着诚心，和充足的信心，来到神面前。
