1. And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
亚兰的儿子是乌斯，户勒，基帖，玛施。

2. They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
三天之久，人不能相见，谁也不敢起来离开本处，惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。

3. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
统领玛拿西支派军队的是比大蓿的儿子迦玛列。

4. And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.
众人就这样行，将那五王，就是耶路撒冷王，希伯仑王，耶末王，拉吉王，伊矶伦王，从洞里带出来，领到约书亚面前。

5. And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
众人就跑去从那里领出他来。他站在百姓中间，身体比众民高过一头。

6. So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
所罗门王的财宝与智慧胜过天下的列王。

7. And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.
耶户和利甲的儿子约拿达进了巴力庙，对拜巴力的人说，你们察看察看，在你们这里不可有耶和华的仆人，只可容留拜巴力的人。

8. Also of the Levites; Jozabad, and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (the same is Kelita,) Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer.
利未人中，有约撒拔，示每，基拉雅（基拉雅就是基利他）。还有毗他希雅，犹大，以利以谢。

9. Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub,
何细亚，哈拿尼雅，哈述，

10. It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
愚妄人以行恶为戏耍。明哲人却以智慧为乐。

11. For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
因为主万军之耶和华，在全地之中，必成就所定规的结局。

12. O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
耶和华阿，我晓得人的道路不由自己，行路的人也不能定自己的脚步。

13. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
有人在这城逼迫你们，就逃到那城去。我实在告诉你们，以色列的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。

14. And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
耶稣周围一看，对门徒说，有钱财的人进神的国是何等的难哪。

15. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
耶稣转身暗暗的对门徒说。看见你们所看见的，那眼睛就有福了。

16. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
耶稣在殿里所罗门的廊下行走。

17. Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
彼得请他们进去，住了一宿。

18. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
凡事都可行。但不都有益处。凡事都可行。但不都造就人

19. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
也要坚守我们所承认的指望，不至摇动。因为那应许我们的是信实的。
