1. And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
亚法撒生沙拉。沙拉生希伯。

2. And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.
法老就召摩西来，说，你们去事奉耶和华，只是你们的羊群牛群要留下，你们的妇人孩子可以和你们同去。

3. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
统领便雅悯支派军队的是基多尼的儿子亚比但。

4. And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.
带出那五王到约书亚面前的时候，约书亚就召了以色列众人来，对那些和他同去的军长说，你们近前来，把脚踏在这些王的颈项上。他们就近前来，把脚踏在这些王的颈项上。

5. And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.
撒母耳对众民说，你们看耶和华所拣选的人，众民中有可比他的吗。众民就大声欢呼说，愿王万岁。

6. And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
普天下的王都求见所罗门，要听神赐给他智慧的话。

7. And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
耶户和约拿达进去，献平安祭和燔祭。耶户先安排八十人在庙外，吩咐说，我将这些人交在你们手中，若有一人脱逃，谁放的必叫他偿命。

8. Of the singers also; Eliashib: and of the porters; Shallum, and Telem, and Uri.
歌唱的人中有以利亚实。守门的人中，有沙龙，提联，乌利。

9. Hallohesh, Pileha, Shobek,
哈罗黑，毗利哈，朔百，

10. The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
恶人所怕的必临到他。义人所愿的必蒙应允。

11. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
所以主万军之耶和华如此说，住锡安我的百姓阿，亚述王虽然用棍击打你，又照埃及的样子，举仗攻击你，你却不要怕他。

12. And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
门徒希奇他的话。耶稣又对他们说，小子，倚靠钱财的人进神的国，是何等的难哪。

13. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
耶和华阿，求你从宽惩治我，不要在你的怒中惩治我，恐怕使我归于无有。

14. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
学生不能高过先生，仆人不能高过主人。

15. For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
我告诉你们，从前有许多先知和君王，要看你们所看的，却没有看见。要听你们所听的，却没有听见。

16. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
犹太人围着他，说，你叫我们犹疑不定到几时呢。你若是基督，就明明的告诉我们。

17. And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
次日起身和他们同去，还有约帕的几个弟兄同着他去。又次日，他们进入凯撒利亚。哥尼流已经请了他的亲属密友，等候他们。

18. Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
无论何人，不要求自己的益处，乃要求别人的益处。

19. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
又要彼此相顾，激发爱心，勉励行善。
