1. And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
约坍生亚摩答，沙列，哈萨玛非，耶拉，

2. Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
我们的牲畜也要带去，连一蹄也不留下，因为我们要从其中取出来，事奉耶和华我们的神。我们未到那里，还不知道用什么事奉耶和华。

3. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
统领亚设支派军队的是俄兰的儿子帕结。

4. And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
随后约书亚将这五王杀死，挂在五棵树上。他们就在树上直挂到晚上。

5. And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.
扫罗往基比亚回家去，有神感动的一群人跟随他。

6. And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.
所罗门聚集战车马兵，有战车一千四百辆，马兵一万二千名，安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。

7. And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.
将巴力庙中的柱像都拿出来烧了。

8. And of the sons of Elam; Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Eliah.
以拦的子孙中，有玛他尼，撒迦利亚，耶歇，押底，耶利末，以利雅。

9. And Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,
亚希雅，哈难，亚难，

10. As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
懒惰人叫差他的人，如醋倒牙，如烟薰目。

11. And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
万军之耶和华要兴起鞭来攻击他，好像在俄立磐石那里杀戮米甸人一样。耶和华的杖，要向海伸出，把杖举起，像在埃及一样。

12. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
门徒就分外希奇，对他说，这样谁能得救呢。

13. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
所以不要怕他们。因为掩盖的事，没有不露出来的。隐藏的事，没有不被人知道的。

14. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
耶稣对他说，律法上写的是什么。你念的是怎样呢。

15. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
只是你们不信，因为你们不是我的羊。

16. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
彼得却拉他说，我也是人。

17. For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.
因为地和其中所充满的，都属乎主。

18. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
因为我们得知真道以后，若故意犯罪，赎罪的祭就再没有了。
