1. And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
约柜停住的时候，他就说，耶和华阿，求你回到以色列的千万人中。

2. And Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, unto Hebron; and they fought against it:
约书亚和以色列众人从伊矶伦上希伯仑去，攻打这城，

3. And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.
耶户在撒马利亚作以色列王二十八年。

4. Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,
瓦尼雅，米利末，以利亚实，

5. Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
又照律法上所写的，将我们头胎的儿子，和首生的牛羊，都奉到我们神的殿，交给我们神的殿里供职的祭司。

6. And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
耶稣说，要我给你们作什么。

7. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
人的仇敌，就是自己家里的人。

8. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
你想这三个人，那一个是落在强盗手中的邻舍呢。

9. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
父所分别为圣，又差到世间来的，他自称是神的儿子，你们还向他说，你说僭妄的话吗。

10. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
神藉着耶稣基督（他是万有的主）传和平的福音，将这道赐给以色列人。

11. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
你们必须忍耐，使你们行完了神的旨意，就可以得着所应许的。
