1. And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.
就夺了希伯仑和属希伯仑的诸城邑，用刀将城中的人与王，并那些城邑中的人口，都击杀了，没有留下一个，是照他向伊矶伦所行的，把城中的一切人口尽行杀灭。

2. Mattaniah, Mattenai, and Jaasau,
玛他尼，玛特乃，雅扫，

3. And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
并将初熟之麦子所磨的面和举祭，各样树上初熟的果子，新酒与油奉给祭司，收在我们神殿的库房里，把我们地上所产的十分之一奉给利未人，因利未人在我们一切城邑的土产中当取十分之一。

4. They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
他们说，赐我们在你的荣耀里，一个坐在你右边，一个坐在你左边。

5. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
爱父母过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒，爱儿女过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒。

6. And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
他说，是怜悯他的。耶稣说，你去照样行吧。

7. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
我若不行我父的事，你们就不必信我。

8. That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
这话在约翰宣传洗礼以后，所加利利起，传遍了犹太。

9. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
因为还有一点点时候，那要来的就来，并不迟延。
