1. And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.
就夺了底璧和属底璧的城邑，又擒获底璧的王，用刀将这些城中的人口尽行杀灭，没有留下一个。他待底璧和底璧王，像从前待希伯仑和立拿与立拿王一样。

2. And Shelemiah, and Nathan, and Adaiah,
示利米雅，拿单，亚大雅，

3. For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
以色列人和利未人要将五谷，新酒，和油为举祭，奉到收存圣所器皿的屋子里，就是供职的祭司，守门的，歌唱的所住的屋子。这样，我们就不离弃我们神的殿。

4. And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
他们说，我们能。耶稣说，我所喝的杯，你们也要喝。我所受的洗，你们也要受。

5. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
得着生命的，将要失丧生命。为我失丧生命的，将要得着生命。

6. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
他有一个妹子名叫马利亚，在耶稣脚前坐着听他得道。

7. Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
他们又要拿他。他却逃出他们的手走了。

8. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
他在犹太人之地，并耶路撒冷，所行的一切事，有我们作见证。他们把他挂在木头上杀了。

9. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
我们却不是退后入沉沦的那等人，乃是有信心以致灵魂得救的人。
